So recently, BioWare posted a job for a Senior Cinematic Animator (Montreal).

But I noticed something:  Mass Effect: Next will use Frostbite, but the Job Description states, "experience with the Unreal engine" as a required technical skill/experience.  This either means:

a) Someone didn't update the JD to say "Frostbite" (...or that experience in Unreal helps with Frostbite. Hey, I'm a layman)

B) The next Mass Effect is a ways off because they haven't made cut scenes yet

c) Since the previous Mass Effect games  used Unreal, a remastered trilogy with improved cut scenes is in the works

Honestly, if the next mass effect game is "years away" then I can't help but  think that EA/BioWare will release a remastered trilogy to help put the brand "top of mind" with the general gaming public and serve it up as a sort of appetizer.  Kinda like what 343i and Microsoft did with the Master Chief Collection...minus the being broken part (LOL).

What do you think? What release window would you guess for the next ME? How about a remastered trilogy?

So here's the thing. Frostbite is an internal-only engine. Only EA studios currently have access to it. What you're looking at is a job posting for external candidates. External candidates will almost certainly not have any experience working in that engine. It's not a stretch of imagination to assume however that experience in another, similar, engine will partially translate to another (ie. some experience in Maya is better than no experience when working in 3Ds Max). That is pretty much all this is about.
