Ugh. Another issue. When I bring up the weapons menu and highlight the weapons: this shows up:

http://cloud.steampo...189FEC625F252D/

Honestly, I'd probably be over it as long as it won't lead to any issues down the road. But if possible I'd prefer that not to be there...

Open up the coalesced.ini file in Notepad++ and do a search for something unique in that string (or the whole thing; but usually a piece of it is enough) and see if it's referenced anywhere in coalesced.ini. If so, go about trying to edit the original coalesced.ini file again to only incorporate the changes you wanted to include.

If that "cloud.steampowered..." string doesn't appear in your coalesced.ini file somewhere, check any other files you might have been tinkering with. If it doesn't show up anywhere in them, then I'm stumped at that point...

My fault for not being specific, that's actually a link to a screenshot in my steam gallery, I think it should work.

I should also be more patient... the "Texture Failure" in the pic has disappeared for now since the SMG and shotgun have replaced it. Sorry for the confusion.

Great thread so far, has anyone found the spot in the config file to specifically tweak the sensitivity change that comes into effect when you zoom in with a sniper rifle?

Just got a new HP/ Pavilion h8 AMD FX-6100 (6-Core) Processor with a Radeon 7450 (1GB DDR3) graphics card and the mouse sensitivity issue is out of control.

I tried using notepad ++, but it won't let me save the info. It telling to check if it being used in another application. Any idea what's wrong with my computer?

Chances are very good that the video graphics card simply doesn't have what it takes. That card carries very low performance tags in its name ("450" is for business, not gaming. The correct gaming card is an HD 6670).

As of the current date, no retailer can supply any such card as a Radeon HD 7450, leading me to suggest that this latest respondent has something else.  Here is the HD 6450, the newest Radeon in the business graphics class that officially exists, compared to the already named HD 6670:

P. S. Checking with Google, it seems that most of the next set of numbers that AMD will be using are just meaningless.  From the bottom to the middle, the year-old HD 6n00 series will be continued, simply with new names, so the retailers don't need new inventory.

Worth pointing out that disabling intro movies will skip *all* movies throughout the game, including loading screen animations and the Prothean vision on Joab

Edit: ...that would be why the OP targeted those specific movies and not what I did... it really does pay to read >_<

Thank you so much for this thread. I've just started playing through the ME series to finally see what they're all about, loving them so far. I've fixed my mouse sensitivity using Notepad++ to change the settings you described, and have my sensitivity setting to 0.15. I've also disabled the intro vids. Great!
