1) I joined this site a couple of weeks before Mass Effect 3 came out, because I figured I'd want to discuss the game after completing it. Little did I know what I was in for. I can't say that I refrained from contributing to that degeneracy at the time.

2) I've gone by many handles on here, but most would probably know me as BringBackNihlus. I don't have a special story behind its creation. It's just something I thought of when I was going through the sign-up process. My favorite username was Whitey McPrivilege, but the BSN overlords didn't like it nearly as much as I did. As for bans, I've been temporarily banned so many times that I've lost count.

3) Only via chance encounter. I'd never actively seek out staging a meet up with anyone from the Internet.

4) I suppose I am, since I keep coming back to this hellscape.

5) No.

6) Yes. I've created and deleted many accounts. I'll usually go about 2-3 months before I return.

Why did you join BSN?

-My life flipped after I got injured in the Army (I was a chemical biological radiological and nuclear specialist aka 74Delta) so I was living with my brother with no car, money or job. So I looked for other means of entertainment and I had always liked BioWare games like NWN, JE, Baldur's Gate and KOTOR.

What's your story behind your BSN Profile?

-Very first account was Garrus Calibrations, then Changed it to Johnnie Walker for a number of reasons. Johnnie Walker got permabanned over something stupid back during the old BSN layout. Created a new one after having a chat with Allan.

Have you ever met someone from BSN in real life?

-I've meet 7 BSNers in real life. 2 visited my city and 5 I flew to. 4 of the 5 I flew to were in different countries.

Do you consider yourself addicted to BSN?

-Use to be back when it wasn't complete crap, before so many glorious users left. Now? No.

Have you ever thought about your death and how would it affect BSN?

-Considering I'm diagnosed with major depressive disorder, yes.

Do you manage to leave when you want, or just keep sticking in the MLP Thread for a while, lurking there and say you're not there?

-I leave and put BSN out of my mind completely.

1. I came here because I was caught up by the pre-ME3 hype. Needless to say, things have changed a lot since then.

2. I used to get banned all the time by Stanley Woo (he even threatened me with a permaban once), but between his leaving the site and me no longer spamming like I used to, I haven't been banned in well over a year. The amount I post has also gone down dramatically since then, partially because I no longer post outside of off-topic and partially because this place is a lot less fun than it used to be.

3. No.

4. I must be, because I can't figure out why else I'm still here.

5. Of all the things I've contemplated or reflected on, I can't say how my death would affect BSN is one of them.

6. Depends how bored I am on any given day.

  1. Why did you join BSN? Got interested in the ME franchise back in late 2010 when I saw the ME3 Teaser trailer. Bought the two installments, enjoyed them quite immensely, and got curious over finding more info on the upcoming sequel. Landed right here on BSN, and the rest is history.
  2. What's your story behind your BSN Profile? Nothing out of the ordinary. Started as "Chewin3" and eventually dropped the "3" when the forum changed layout. Have stayed mostly civil here on the forums, except a warning or two when posting in a wrong thread at the wrong time. I'm quite formal here, so nothing much to speak on that regard.
  3. Have you ever met someone from BSN in real life? Not yet. There are a few people I will meet up with in the future, once I get the chance.
  4. Do you consider yourself addicted to BSN? Personally, no. But considering I'm here basically on a daily basis, maybe that is a yes after all.
  5. Have you ever thought about your death and how would it affect BSN? It has crossed my mind, but only people from here that I associate with outside of the forums would care.
  6. Do you manage to leave when you want? I have quite a busy schedule, so yes. Though during evenings, I tend to stay a bit longer than I should. Those people in the Anime thread are a crazy but likable sort.

First of all, why did you join BSN? Sure, this is a gaming forum and such, but there are, of course, people that only join for the Off-Topic Board or even got tired of those Gaming forums and met some nice people here and decided never to look into the horror of Gaming Thread.

Well they closed the superior previous boards so I was more or less forced to join bsn to keep up with games I follow.

Second, what's your story behind your BSN Profile? Name Changes, bans, perma bans but managed to avoid...

No name changes, same name since the original Interplay boards that I joined months before Baldurs Gate came out.  Can't recall any bans but I handed out a couple in my time.

Third, have you ever met someone from BSN in real life?

Yes, if that includes BioWare people.

Fourth, do you consider yourself addicted to BSN?

(Honest answer on this one)Fifth, have you ever thought about your death and how would it affect BSN? I mean, a serious answer, because many people will simply think you're done posting, you left or you went to live under a rock, instead of knowing that you're dead and gone.

I would simply cease to post, the extent of the effect on bsn would be 'Gee I haven't seen so and so in a while' and that's about it.

Sixth: Do you manage to leave when you want, or just keep sticking in the MLP Thread for a while, lurking there and say you're not there?

I'll have to say no because I don't know what the MLP thread is.

First of all, why did you join BSN?

I had to join in order to get DLC for ME2.

Second, what's your story behind your BSN Profile? Name Changes, bans, perma bans but managed to avoid...

I played rugby, so it's a variation of rugger.  No name changes, no bans, no perma bans.

Third, have you ever met someone from BSN in real life?

Yes.

Fourth, do you consider yourself addicted to BSN?

Until I start my new job tomorrow, I had a lot of time to waste over the winter.

Fifth, have you ever thought about your death and how would it affect BSN? I mean, a serious answer, because many people will simply think you're done posting, you left or you went to live under a rock, instead of knowing that you're dead and gone.

I doubt anyone would miss me.

Sixth: Do you manage to leave when you want, or just keep sticking in the MLP Thread for a while, lurking there and say you're not there?

I did it once.

Mega... Why?

Budgee please. This is not a spam thread but that doesn't mean you shouldn't take this seriously. :P

Dat awkward moment when you realize 98% of people on BSN are bots and only you and a handful of users and your friends are test subjects of psychological experiments...

Yes, reply to me. Let me know your deepest secrets.

1. I joined the proto-BSN to moan about Mass Effect. Then I joined the old BSN to moan about DA:O. Seems I'm still here.

2. Nothing much. Same username as everywhere, and I haven't really posted enough to attract bans or warnings.

3. Yes, met up with someone last year. I think that's only one BSN regular, though I've met a lot of internet friends over the years.

4. No, it's at least a couple of years since I posted very regularly. I'm probably more of a regular on TESF, though even there, not as much as I was.

5. I pretty much lurk under a rock for the most part anyway!

6. I generally have to remember to even check in these days.

not particularly what would happen to bsn beyond what would happen to the rest of creation once I stop imagining it.
