I understand that this is prolly a easy thing to find out, but i've been diggin around this site for a hour,only to find nothing.

Can someone PLZ tell me how to like a gamertag to profile

Go to https://profile.ea.com/myinfo.do, login with the email address and password associated with your account here. Click Add Persona, and then add your xbox live gamertag.

If you've ever associated your gamertag with another EA account you'll probably have to contact EA Support to sort it out.



There are a lot of threads about this today in the Mass Effect forums, and I can't keep up, but you might want to check there to see if there are any insights into how to resolve the situation.

this is absolutely retarded. i have an ea ID with all of the sports games i play, then after i make a bioware id with the same email as my EA id, somehow it doesnt link up to my xbox live gamertag? i already paid 60 bucks for the game. why the **** should i have to wait another 2 hours to get on the phone... wait.. why should i even be using a phone? just for a piece of armor and a gun that i was promised if i reserved my game at gamestop... EA sports buzzkill... they never fail to suprise anyone ud think one of the largest names in video games would get something so simple right.. they fail..

By far the vast majority of people having these sorts of problems didn't "read the manual" when signing up. EA and BioWare can do little against user errors.

I'm kinda pissed because when I go to the site logged in under my name and its got my email, then it says Xbox Gamertag: None, PSN name: (it actually has it down)...........so I'm confused

If you're looking at your EA profile, any attached persona is supposed to show up. If you haven't done so for your Gamertag it won't.

Is it possible to change the email on this social.bioware account?
My email somehow f***ed up and now is the incorrect email even though i entered the correct one
it repeated a certain part of the email thus invalidating it.

Basically I don't want to link my gamertag to this email, as much as i want to change the email to the proper one

Hmm...I'm not sure what's wrong with my account. I've logged into EA, made the XBox Live account my default, and then logged in here with the exact same information, but no gamertag is associated with my Bioware account.



I've searched the forums, but I can't seem to find the answer on how to resolve this. Any help?

You can change the email on your account here by going to EA's profile at https://profile.ea.com/myinfo.do and click "Update My Info".  (Login info is old email and password.)  You may have to log out and relogin here at this site after its changed for it to register over here.

it keeps telling me my gamer tag is taken. which is complete nonsense. i dont understand why we have to jump all these hoops just for some armor. why not just make it simple and have the code be entered on xbox live

Umm im not sure you understand what I mean.  I just want this the social.bioware account to be associated with the email

instead of

Isn't there a moderator or admin capable of doing that (and if there is can someone tell me how to contact them?)

As a side note, is it normal for social.bioware.com accounts not to show up on ea accounts?

It is possible to change it but not re-link your account. The FAQ tells you how to change it, but if you attempted to connect to an existing EA account there's nothing you can do.
