Makes me wonder if him carrying a ridiculous amount of guns on him was supposed to be a GTA reference. :P

Well, it looks like Jimmy has given up on morality. Pity.

Overall, while I wouldn't say it was as good as last week's episode, it was still pretty good and sets up Jimmy's fall from grace pretty well.

BTW, anyone else got the Kevin Kostner reference?

That Lawrence of Arabia reference -- I love how Jimmy is like a walking movie quotation machine.. like me, shared interests in cinema. I'm only loving it, really!

Here, here.

I also really love the fanart for this series.

Really puts the underlying metaphor of Jimmy's previous scam in perspective.

The real question of this show is: when will Huell Babineaux appear?

And will he get an origin story episode like Mike did?

Great season overall, but I thought that finale was terrible. Seemed like a waste of an hour, aside from the last few minutes.

Yeah, nothing too notable happened in this finale. Seems like the penultimate with Chuck's betrayal was pretty much the big climax, and this was just the slow sizzle afterwards.

The climax was the penultimate episode. The denoument was the finale. In any case, "terrible" is a bit strong to describe that episode. The vocal minority of haters have been laying the hyperbole on pretty thick.

I appreciate the bingo speech as the master class of acting from Bob Odenkirk that it was, and the scam montage was pure craftsmanship.

The whole season was overall stronger than that of Breaking Bad's first season-- I also generally enjoyed Saul Goodman more as a character than that of Walt White in the original.

I'd definitely say Gilligan is the modern master of character drama at this point. Even when I know what's going to happen, more or less, it's been pretty damned entertaining to watch Jimmy and Mike's story's unfold.

Also, LOL at Mike knocking Trevor Philips (anyone catch that? That was Steven Ogg. Lester was there too. :P ) on his arse last ep.

Mike is a BAMF.

"So, what are you packing?"

"A pimento sandwich."

Apparently pimento sandwich very deadly
