I refused to watch this show when it first came out on Fox channel. It was so oddly designed, it scheduled between American Dad and Family Guy and I was like: "Ugh... got no patience to watch this at all." Then suddenly, I get sick about five years later and decide to give this series a chance. I can't realize what I've been missing.

This family, this nutty, loving, family and all the characters surrounding the Belchers made me fall in love with this series. Sure, some people would find it odd that they use male voice actors to voice Linda (the cheerful, booze loving, eccentric mother) and Tina (the pony freak, boys loving, zombie and erotica friends fiction writer... bigger sister) but it just fits their personalities and it adds to the wackiness of the show.

All the puns, the on-going camaraderie between the siblings and the other teenagers of the city with Bob and Linda's adventures while trying to make their restaurant a better place for their town... I'm just happy I finally given a chance to this series. Sure, the animation at first wasn't that good, but I have to admit that the continuity in some of the storylines is refreshing.

I loved the Simpsons ages ago but this new family conquered its spot in my heart. It's such a shame that Family Guy ain't what it used to be, because for me, the Belchers are an animated family I can hope to see for more years to come. Can I just say how much I love Louise? She's such a troll. Gene's growing on me with all his silly ideas, though I prefer his sisters better. It's hard for me to decide which character I prefer the best in this show, there are so many I like because they all have something unique to bring to the many stories they have to tell.

I can only hope they won't become another Family Guy over the years and destroy what made their show charming to begin with...

It's a very good show. My sister's a big fan of it, and I've seen a few of them myself. They know how to do extraordinarily weird humor, that's hard to deny.

Decided to edit the third post and put all the videos in it instead of just spamming the Lobby.

I dedicate this Donna Summer song to all the Bob Belchers of the world. Gotta love the Thanksgiving episodes.

A preview of last week's episode. The kids are grounded for "no reason" by their Mom, Linda. Aunt Gayle visits the shop and the kids get to each write a short story inspired by their aunt and their own personal themes. (Personally, I liked the third story which was a spoof of Game of Thrones. So silly...)

It's a charming show that doesn't attempt to beat a political ideology into your mind (looking at you Family Guy and American Dad).

I'm not sure, though because from what I've seen, this show is feminist friendly, lgbt friendly, has people from different backgrounds and countries. It's pretty liberal the way I see it.

*coughs* Though let's not turn this into a political conversation as it's forbidden on these boards... Sorry.

It's quite easy to find online if you want to see 'em... Right now I want to purchase the DVDs, I'm just broke as fudge.

Well written post, twinsy.

I've never seen this show, but I've heard of it... and after reading this, I am actually inclined to watch it.

All hail Louise Belcher, Queen of the Trolls!

Seriously though, she reminds me of a little Sideshow Bob sometimes. (Mostly for the Machiavelli side.)

Bumpity bump. Two new episodes announced for the next two weeks. Both titled: "Adventures in Chinchilla-sitting" and "The Runway Club."

Adventures in Chinchilla-sitting
Bob and Linda head out on the town for a date - but to Linda's dismay, Bob's idea of romance proves "trivial." Meanwhile, a wild chinchilla chase ensues after the school pet that Louis was charged with watching escapes out the front door.

The Runway Club
The kids are sentenced to Saturday detention and will do anything it takes to leave early, so they can attend the Cotton Candy Festival. Meanwhile, Bob and Linda believe they are being scammed by a young girl at the restaurant.

More episodes to come.

Bummer, no new episode tonight. I guess I'm just going to marathon the fifth season from the start tonight, instead.
