Keep not working since Beta signup.

I wasn't sure where else to post this - i've already asked about it in the Patch Beta discussion forum.

 

Ever since I signed on for the Patch Beta 6, I have been completely unable to use the Keep.  If I click on Log In with Origin, I get the login screen, I type in my info and I get the Account Verification screen, and then it goes to load the Tapestry, and... I sit there from three to five minutes waiting and finally get the Oops... message telling me to reload and try again. 

 

In preparation for the Beta, I created a brand new profile on my computer just for the beta so I can set it up to run with nothing else out there to conflict, meaning that there are no temp internet files or cookies or cache to clear - though I did go in and do it just the same after I first got the error.

 

I have tried IE, FireFox, Opera, Chrome, even Safari and Maxthon.  Every single one gives me the same error and nothing else.  I have also tried on four other computers.  Still the same.

 

I tried logging in with my daughter's account - smooth as silk.

 

This  has GOT to be a profile issue, but I can't do anything about it for myself.  It was fine right up until I pressed the button that accepted the Beta ToS and the NDA.  From that moment on I have been unable to access my Tapestry.  Help??  Please??

PS - I had hoped when I logged in today and saw that my entitlements had updated and I finally had the correct access that the problem would sort itself out.  Unfortunately, it has not.

 

pps - I wound up here because apparently no one else in the patch discussion forum is having this problem.  Some have said the Keep is slow, but it loads eventually.  It doesn't matter what I do or how long I wait.  All I get is the Ooops. Since I also decided to start a new playthrough for the beta this really matters to me - the default World State for people who didn't acutally PLAY the first two games just frankly sucks as a starting point.  Fair enough if you didn't play, but I've played and replayed both prior games enough times to actually have an entire 500Gb backup drive full of Wardens and Hawkes.  ;)  Not that all of them are uploaded to the Keep by any means! :lol:

I'm experiencing the same thing (have been for weeks). I've offered feedback elsewhere to no effect.

 

I had no idea it was a profile issue.. curious that it works on your daughter's computer.

Actually, it's my daughter's profile that works on my machine, but my profile does not seem to work anywhere... <sigh>

Yeah, I've tried it on other machines too. It sucks. 

 

We just need to keep bugging them or something.. make them aware of the issue. Somehow. I don't know if they even read the Feedback or these boards.

Yes they do read feedback. However it's 3:55 am currently so they are all asleep.

I mean, I've had the problem for weeks. Then offered feedback twice already. Only posted on this board section recently though.

 

The good thing is that it doesn't stop me from using the World State already in the Keep. The bad thing is that I want to change it. :P

They can't really check threads in the other sections as they have a high rate of new topics (unlike here which is dedicated to keep feedback)

I am experiencing the same issue.

 

The website just gives me an error message and tells me to refresh.  Which obviously doesn't fix anything.

I can log into the keep okay. But, I am still downloading the Beta version, so it is not installed as of yet.

 

~~Nvr mind.. I accessed the Beta from Origins, not the keep...

Well, cheer up!  I can confirm that the problem is definitely being looked into.  In fact, it's being very thoroughly looked into.  If you've posted feedback that you have this issue but haven't heard anything, it's likely because the folks that are doing the fixing are literally swamped with things they are working on and feedback from users who are assisting.  Once they determine exactly what's causing the issue, it will be addressed.

 

Keep smiling, I'm hopeful that it will be resolved soon!

AWESOME news!! Got a PM from a Dev today asking me to try logging in to the Keep after he did a quick patch during an update they pushed.  

 

It works!! It works!!  At least for me, anyway!

 

If you've been having this problem also, go ahead and give it a try.  One favor - if it works for you now, could you please post an update in here so I can let the Dev know how much we appreciate him :wizard: , pretty please?

Before I give him a bug report on it, would you try going into your internet settings and clearing out your cookies, cache and temp internet files and giving it another go?  Someone else mentioned to me elsewhere that after doing so it did work since the patch.  Her problem turned out to be an old cookie from the old Bioware website that they've mostly deactivated.  He's been working on it for days to get this far.  I'd really appreciate it if I could let him know that we tried the obvious before calling, "Wolf!"  :)

Just tried it in Firefox.. still no dice. :\ If it helps, forward my user name to them if you talk. Maybe they can look at that specifically. Thanks for the replies btw:)
