I was wearing rather lurid pink pyjamas when I first read this over my morning coffee. I think I bought them as a dare to myself. Actually, no, I remember, I was, ahem, "invited" into hospital for a bit last year and needed some new nightwear, so I told my gf to buy me something vulgar. I actually quite like them.

I think if you wear pink knowing full well it's pretty horrid and it's tongue in cheek, that's fine. I have some pink tops, but they are soft pastel pink not bright pink. But, I have also gone into hospital and bought things that I wouldn't usually buy. Like a lilac nightie. I don't do lilac.

I like pink, but I also like purples and greens etc. Lilac is not bad with a beige. Neon Pink is a little over the top though.

I usually wear black, white, grey, red, green and teal. Only blue I wear are dark blue jeans.

It may be a cultural thing. My wife was much the same way when we met. Dark suits and black pullovers. She has lightened up over the years. Of course I go shopping with her so she has little choice. And we are close enough in size that we can share a lot.

This might...seem a silly question, but is it a little ironic to ask the what the use of social media is by way of social media?
Anyway, I personally think the most important use of social media is the transparency and sharing of information. Fledgeling businesses can get themselves out there in ways they might not be able, and more importantly than that, some of the movements that have actually had some effect in countries with oppressive dictatorships have been organized through the use of social media.
For my part, I like that I can easily stay appraised of what my friends and family that I don't live nearby are up to, and I like to hang out on this site sometimes to discuss my nerdery.
