Alcohol doesn't actually kill neurons. (unless in extremely high amounts)
It does, however damage many other internal organs....

Well use it in moderation like anything else.
And maybe drink some water in between drinks, so you don't feel like trash in the morning.
And don't drink it every day...................... rule #1

I damn sure wish that was true. Most of my group of friends left in 2012.

Oh yeah, some did manage to leave, don't know how they pulled that one off though....

I'm pretty sure many did not leave voluntarily. ![]()
Meh. I keep my real life and my ''internet'' life completely separated. I had a facebook account for 3 month when I realized how much phony this place was and never looked back.
All my friend( The few one I have
) and family use it . My sister still insist I reopen an account and keep calling me an ''The asocial ****** with her snarky grins''.. I keep telling her how she always try to make her life appears more than it is and she quite agree with me lol. But it's what everyone do on social media. Make yourself look better or have more friend or whatever inflate your ego. It's like high school all over again. A constant popularity contest of illusions.
I had my lessons 15 years ago when I took internet relationship to another level. No more.

Sadly, many adults can never break outta this mindset. They have no individuality or sense of purpose beyond being trendy and having as many "friends" as possible

I have less than 50 friends of FB. I know every single one of them in one way or another. If I get friend requests from strangers, I don't accept them. Even people I do know for reals, I still might not accept. I'm just very selective with who I share my personal life with.
When I first created my FB account, it was for the sole purpose of getting a dog food coupon by liking the PetSmart page
Then my sister found me and I denied her friend request because I didn't want to use it for social purposes. I used it just for coupons for more than a year. Later on my sister sent another request and this time I accepted. After that family and friends found me. So I was like, what the hell, I guess I'll use it for reals.
here is the thing most people use these sites as echo chambers and ego boosts. thats why the 1st thing i do on those sites is spout absolute BS. like "I THINK MEN ARE ALIENS AND ANALY PROBE WOMEN TO TURN EM IN TO CATTLE." if i get any likes i leve.
I'm going to take a guess. Is it because romantic relationships exist to fill the needs of both people. Both partners use each other to fill social needs.
Am I in the right direction?
In essence, yes.
Then there's using Skinnerian (operant) conditiooning (positive/negative reinforcement/punishment) to get what you want either.
When I was on Facebook, I think I had about 30 friends, or so. I wasn't really interested in getting updates from people unless I knew them reasonably well, or I had been good friends with them in the past, and they now lived in other provinces/countries.
I haven't been on Facebook in over five years, though.
if i get any likes i leve.
never give me a reason to do something...
