Hi all - sorry if this has been answered before - I looked, honest! I have killed all 10 high dragons in the game. This was even acknowledged by the little 'Quest Completed' graphic and noise, but no achievement has been awarded. Do I have to finish the research war table operation to get the achievement or...? This isn't keeping me up nights, just that I hated killing the dragons, they are so beautiful, and I only did it this playthrough to get the achievement, so I would feel really awful if I was indeed the bane of dragons for nothing. Thanks!

I can't guarantee this will work, but it worked for me. Try reloading a save before you killed all the dragons, then kill one of them again. I don't know if the achievement it bugged to need 11, but it's bugged somehow. Hope this helps!

It is a known bug. It unlocked for me upon killing my 26th dragon on my third playthrough.

Wow.. 26 dragons? That's rough. I got the achievement on dragon #11. I guess it is the Northern Hunter in Crestwood that doesn't count properly towards the achievement.

I got the achievement after I killed the first dragon in the second playthrough, #11 as well.

Same for me. #11 in my second playthrough gave me the trophy

Ironically, I had no problems whatsoever with Northern Hunter.
Hivernal torpedoed my dragon cheevo counter from 7 to 1 on my first playthrough.

Yes this happened to me, the last one I killed was the one on Storm Coast. I saved beforehand though and fought it again, and the achievement was rewarded.
I saw speculation that this may be related to fighting Dragons below your level. In this case I was 23 and the dragon was 20 (IIRC), but I was closer or slightly below the other ones when I killed them.

Oh that would make sense, I had to go back and find the Greater Mistral before I got the Highland Ravager. This is going to be a hard one to get then, 'cuz the only way I can kill a dragon is if I AM a higher level than it is lol

Sera + tier 3 Thousand Cuts = Dead Lizard
Edit: for more information: Sera + Mighty Offense + tier 3 Thousand Cuts = One <insert your favorite x-rated word here> dead Greater Mistral
The problem with Greater Mistral is not her, but how to get to her.
