It states "preparing" so fingers crossed.
Just done downloading 243,70MB and yes slow download despite my fast connection. It took a 1/2 hour. Server must be busy!!

Yeah, same...it's gonna takes me 54 hours to download this update. Welp.
*edit: nvm, it's loading normally now...just had to wait 7 minutes for it to actually start downloading

I can confirm the storage chest and armor tinting but the patch seems to have messed up my graphics the same way patch 2 did (everything like hair and cloth are super shiny) Curious to see if others report the same problem.

Game updated like a blaze at nearly 13 Mb/s. Apparently it works correctly...(crosses fingers).

Patch notes say they uncoupled shader quality from mesh quality, so you probably have to bugger around with the new shader setting to get rid of the shine now. Mine is still updating so can't verify anything myself for the moment.

How about adding " -ShaderSystem.ShaderQualityLevel Ultra " to game properties in Origins? It was a temporary fix for shiny hairs.

Oh. Have they finally added that option?

Meh, I guess it may be a common problem with the patches. Hopefully there will be another hotfix...

Are you on PC? If so, check to see what your shader quality is set to under options. I noticed that mine was set too low after the patch.

Ninja'd.

Removed the connection between mesh quality and shader quality and added a Shader Quality setting to the Graphics options.
Seems to be the case ![]()

I've noticed two issues almost immediately after updating:
1. Combat is in slow motion at times.
2. In the middle of a fight, Sera suddenly froze. Couldn't do anything at all - she was like a statue. It was fixed by saving and reloading after the fight. It has never happened before.

Ok, thanks! Yeah you are right, they added a separate slider for shader quality. All is well again ![]()

Yes, there is now a separate shader setting in graphics option. That needs to be on High or better to minimize the shine. You can now lower mesh quality for better performance while setting shaders higher for better visuals.

Patch seems to be working fine, but mods are no longer working at all, it would seem.
