I just leave now. I'm not the only one either. I noticed many people trying to leave or even kick AW from the group, but I don't kick. I'll just leave and find another game or start my own.

You never saw it?  I see it a lot, but I just assumed it was because they are AW.  I suppose it could be because they have a bad reputation or low level or some other reason. I know I personally do not enjoy games with AW, and I can't possibly be the only one that feels that way.

I think this is mentioned in every anti-AW thread, but I'll say it this time.

It's a PVE game played as a team. Who cares if an AW is in your group if it's a balanced group. You share the XP.

If you get kicked playing an AW, chances are you got kicked for playing like a jackass rather than just for playing the AW.

By no means is this issue totally related to AW's but they are more prevalent than other classes in not sharing a common goal, or having team fun.

 

I've heard this argument before, who cares it is team sharing so I can just run off ahead, kill everything and by the way I'll be foisting my values of the best economy on a group by racing to complete levels.

 

I want to kill stuff, the games I enjoy the most is when a cohesive 4 person team works together, I want to have the team do treasure rooms and collect every single stinking pot.

I've actually been far more disturbed by the number of keepers who run ahead and chain lightning everything and make me wonder if they even have barrier as one of their actives; or reavers who think they're invincible solo artists, run ahead and die after aggroing the map.  Most of the AW's I've played with either run as competent tanks or as limp noodle pota / staff attackers who get downed more than a couple times.

I thought you were just BSing until you mentioned the reavers.  I don't see those keepers but i DO see reavers who run ahead just like you described, and I don't understand it. They even avoid receiving barriers from the keeper.  I vote to kick those people immediately after the match.  I will tolerate a lot, even level 1 players on perilous. I like helping people rank up, but if you're going to play selfish and reckless I want no part of it.
