Can I....leave this here...
there are literally no words to all the feels.....

Edit: I'm literally dying right now...idk if it's cause I haven't slept in over 20 hours....or this picture just gives me THAT MUCH FEELS UGHHHHHH. I keep staring at it. Loving it. And staring somemore. I will never love a character as much as I love Fenris. Also this comic makes that other tragic comic less painful...
I'm tired, so I've been pondering how Ciardan the Shipwright from Lord of the Rings managed to be an elf with a beard, and I came to the conclusion that he obviously got it from June in return for Ciardan teaching him how to craft a boat.
For elder scrolls fans, would the elvhen be closer to what mer race? Ayleid, Dwemer, or what? Base on their situation, technology, whatever.
Id say Ayleid...though isn't that supposed to be an age of enlightenment? the Dwemer were Dwarves. Your thinking Bosmer (wood Elves) and Altmer (HIgh Elves). I'd compare Dalish to the Bosmer and the ALtmer I don't think have an Elvhen comparison. They're probably more like Tevinter!

Arlathan would probably be Ayeleid (creepy rituals, acting dickish in general) or Altmer (snooty, powerful magocracy.) With a touch of Dunmer (their gods hang out with them).
*shrug* It's been awhile.
The Dwemer are elves, they're just called dwarves because they were buddies with actual giants. They're still my favorite take on the dwarves ever, very creative. ![]()
Yeah. Like guys? WTF have you idiots been doing for 1000 years???!!! According to the codex in the Western Approach, the wardens searched out the Archdemons. Did they manage to kill any without tainting them first? Have they tried to help defend Orzammar in strength, instead of one warden at a time? Have they made any kind of research into the Blight????? RAWRSNARL.
Yeah, but who do the wardens recruit, usually the dregs... I mean who wants to die young in a horrible way... Unless they're desperate no person with half a brain is going to want to joint the wardens. And as if that weren't impediment enough, once you've gained some knowledge, awareness and experience... It's time to heed your calling...
They're still my favorite take on the dwarves ever
And extinct.
And extinct.
They lived life as technocratic jackasses and died too young. ![]()
Here's some Falon'Din.

Probably those Snow Elf fellows, at the minute anyway.
Eh excuse me if someone has already answered this but...where did Solas get the scar on his forehead? It looks too specific a thing to be random scar effect.
And oooooft! Why did my type size go huge??? I'm honestly not shouting!!!!
And extinct.
I think the theory over at teslore is that they actually found a way to fuse with the Numidium (became it's skin) and thus became enlightened or whatever.

He whacked his head of the cupboard in the kitchen, happens to the best of us.
ahhh should've realised! LOL

But seriously, it's not significant in any way. There's no hidden meaning, it's just a scar.

I like to think Solas smacked himself in the face with his staff; Cullen got his scar when he ran into a door trying to get away from Surana.
I just want to say, this pretty much resembles a scene in the FF I am currently writing....

Pretty much, and the numidium is gone. Like, it can't be interacted with any more. casted out of time.
Edit: not sure of the enlightenment part. I'm really rusty on TESLORE but isn't enlightenment called CHIM?

Late to party. This is hella interesting and I remember David Gaider writing a blog post saying World of Thedas Vol 2 would reveal more about the lands beyond Thedas. Maybe we'll learn a bit more about this....and a bit more about the Patheon? One can hope.
HUH!? is that true? where is that?
From this dialogue:
Dorian: So, Solas, where did you get your scar?
Solas: Why do you ask?
Cole: A new staff. I'll show them. Twisting, twining, twirling. A pirouette! And then. Oh, MY FACE!
Vivienne: So you hit yourself with your staff, did you? Unsurprising, considering you light yourself on fire.
Dorian: In Tevinter, they have saying, how a mage handles his staff is indicative of how he . . .
Solas: (bitchy sigh)
