iha will be devastated to see you've switched ships, I'm sure.
Never!
Maker no... now you have two threads to troll me.
But at least Colonel understands how I will never be devastated.
But let's get back on topic, okay? I picked up something about witch burning?

It's interesting. I'm curious why she's missing a boob though. I'd like to hear the back story on that.
I took it from the (probably false) story of the Amazons cutting off their breast to make it easier to shoot their bows. I figure if anyone would be crazy enough to do it, it'd be my girl Andruil.

My boobs don't get in the way of my shooting. And I have the benefit of having both boobs, which is nice.

Oh. Side-boobs? I've seen so many at gyms. Not the lady kind though.

Amazons used to amputate one of their breasts in order to better draw a bow, according to Greek tradition.

Apparently, neither can some people on the solas thread. We posted some jokes like we always do (pinky), now the Solas thread is heavily monitored. Too prune-ish now. Really sad because it was self-regulated and now it's officially regulated.

Yep, mods kill everything. That's the way it goes. Well, they wanted their boring thread back, so congratulations to 'em, they got what they wished for.

You're lurking, right? Has it happened to other threads? I'm curious to see if this was a BSN thing or a solas reporting thing.
edit: I haven't been around bsn until a couple months ago.

It's happened, but it's a little different with the Solas thread. You guys did a whole exodus, lol, usually people just spread out to wherever.

Not sure if that's worse or makes it easier for moderators. These past couple of weeks has been weird, reports now. used to be self-moderated.

For elder scrolls fans, would the elvhen be closer to what mer race? Ayleid, Dwemer, or what? Base on their situation, technology, whatever.
To be honest, the elves of dragon age don't at all compare to the elves of elder scrolls. On the surface I'd say the closest is Bosmer, if you go simply by what most people know about them. They're short, small, love trees and animals, lol, and prefer archery.
Go deeper though, with the green pact, and they're like hippies from hell. Cannibalistic to avoid eating plants, consuming their enemies and even making alcohol from fermented meats.
The closest you could put an elf from dragon age to one from the elderscrolls would be the now extinct Aldmer to the now mostly extinct Ancient Elves. Though the Aldmer probably lived longer, not needing the help of some process of slumber to expand their life because they were the closest things on Tamriel to gods because they were Ehlnofey, one step away from Et'ada.
So there really isn't a good comparison. Love Dragon Age, but they're far too generic to compare to Elderscrolls Elves.

Alright guys, I gotta share something with you all. So I work in a technical area in Germany and DIN stands for Deutsche Industrie Norm which is the German Industry Standard. So like, if you want to build a house you have to check a DIN so that you install the light switches at the right height or if you want to do a tensile test of a metal, what force velocity must you use to pull that sucker apart. So whenever I see Falon'Din mentioned I imagine an glitterotic elven god mixed with a stuffy German engineer possibly wearing socks with his sandles. Maybe he has a clipboard, maybe he has a measuring tape with him. He is definitely not dressed safely for a technical job, cause ya know gods are crazy like that. My mind has taken him to a whole new level.
