Ok here's a quick question...assuming the version of Mythal we have seen is not her "true" form, do we think she will also be an Elf in the way Falon Din etc are?

I think she originally at least looked like an elf (whether they actually were elves eg mages as opposed to spirits or something else we've never seen is a different matter). Then that body died when she was murdered and a spark of her spirit lived on and eventually came to join with a human woman, flemeth, and she persisted in that form (and by possessing the human bodies of her daughters maybe) through the ages.

You know, I don't know.

 

I say that because June, I think, is a dwarf, which would allow at least the possibility of non-elfy forms. I think probably she was an elf. But I can't discount human out of hand.

 

Falon'Din and Dirthamen, however, were obviously hot, braided elves. See above. Accept no substitutes.

Thanks to you, he's one of my favorite elven gods now. He's tied with Flemythal and Dirthamen for second after Fen'Harel. 'Friend of the dead' just has this fantastically creepy, edgy awesome to it. And goodness. Your artworks cause happy feelings in me. Every single artist whose works I've seen here are bloody brilliant, but something about your style allures me. You need and deserve more recognition.

Okay. So at work I was thinking a lot about my twin soul head cannon and I love both Falon'Din and Dirthamen to death. So I was making head cannons about their tragic lives. Feel free to read as its pretty lengthy but I have a lose theory about what happened to them based on the theories I've read.

Okay so the Tyrdda bright Axe theory is that her lover was mythal. Them gold handed was Dirthamen. Seeing as mythal had basically beat Falon'Din into submission and that didn't fly with his twin. Dirthamen attempted to murder mythal and he did successfully. But since Falon'Din is the one that passes souls across the veil, mythal was stuck in this world as a wisp. (Idk head cannon mostly). So then the rest of the pantheon heard of the murder and chaos is wrought on each other. Not sure where allegiances lied but eventually it drove Fen'Harel to lock them all away. But what if it wasn't just locking them away. What if he had separated them from their bodies...rendering them utterly useless. Their bodies would eventually wither away I'd imagine leaving them with the only option to maybe attempt to get to their pet dragons (if the whole corypheus is attached to his lyrium dragon would apply to them). So since Andruil (or possibly Falon'Din) has been to the void, they would have had contact with the blight, so what if they tricked the magisters to break into the void instead of a golden city (way out there assumption but where else could the blight come from) thus releasing the blight on mankind. Now since the gods have blight sickness on at least one of their resumes, let's assume they know how to manipulate it, so they use the song to get thousands of darkspawn to go find their dragons, which are the only bodies they have ATM. Blights begin because they don't give a **** about the world they just want to get out. Fen'Harel/Solas in the meantime is crying himself to sleep every night because he knows all this and regrets it all. What I haven't decided is what his next move is going to be.

Oh and mythal I would assume that she wants the gods free so she can ring Dirthamen's neck for killing her.

I'm assuming a god. I don't mythal would care too much about a dragon soul. The archdemons can sing to the darkspawn which I assume is the gods channeling through them.

Not sure what happens when the archdemons are slain by wardens. Haven't thought that far.

Edit: I'm not a lore god so all this is me assuming stuff aha. I just thought it made a good head cannon story for my twin soul lovers. Somehow.
