So does that mean that Cole swaps with him depending upon what you choose? Now that's the choice I was hoping to NEVER make.
Well, yes, that's the problem. Cole doesn't fit well for Judas or Peter.
So Cole is Judas........
I find this idea....exciting o_o
Choosing between Solas or Cole..? A choice I really hope I'll never have to make.
I don't think I'm ready to push anyone into the Apollo-role. Yes, his cult represented order, and when one thinks of Apollo they tend to think of divine order, arts, etc. I think what I was trying to say, probably all muddled like, was that we should not forget how dangerous Apollo could be, hence the Marsyas story. Such brutality was not a small part of his character.
That's why I don't like thinking about Apollo/Dionysis as two sides of a coin. The demarcations between Apollonian order and Bacchic frenzy are so porous, and that is what makes their pairing so seductive. Let me say that I think it is useful to think about Apollo/Dionysis as opposites, but I don't want to lose how really entangled they those two are.
I like the Sylaise parallel, she is, after all, connected with fire.
Perhaps my take on it is crude but Apollonian = intellect, organisation Bacchic = feelings anarchy, but ultimately it is a question of approach rather than outcomes because as you say, both can end in inordinate cruelty...
BioWare probably just thought it would make a really nice picture to have all of them in one place, best at the war table because it is such a central element to advancing the story.
Yes, it is just an iconic picture and it would be wrong to read too much into it...

Patrick Weekes' interview did touch on faith and belief as a huge theme of DA:I. So while the characters may not line up one-to-one with the disciples in the Last Supper, I think they were going for the overall look of the Supper with Quizzy in Jesus's position.

Sorry, you are right. New thread, new rules. I forgot something:

Judas is second. Peter is leaning over.
So Cole is Judas........
And then, of course, there are numerous theories that say that, actually, Judas wasn't the bad guy...
Here's one of my favourites by Jorge Luis Borges: http://southerncross...s-judas-eng.htm

Yeah, but Sola's profile resembles that of Peter and Varric's that of Judas...

Well I said he was in the Judas spot, which he is. Couldn't care less about his profile. His position is what matters when the numbers match up perfectly.

Who is this pretender?
I can't help but think that Madonna's on board with the glitterotica pantheon. http://imagizer-cv.i...9098/gOG2hL.jpg
She probably would, it's Madonna we're talking about.
Personally, I can't help but think Ziggy Stardust would totally fit in as well.
Sorry, I have strong feelings for David Bowie, so when I think about Glitterotica, I think about him immediately.
Oh, Siha, you know what I like. I don't know what it means, but it probably sounds hot.
Nightingale, sing a song with art
for my noble queen!
Proclaim that my firm mind and my
heart are burning
for her sweet body and for her love!
(I'm printing this small so I won't embarrass myself too much in case it's all wrong.)
Btw, this page has a severe lack of "love".

Omg. JUNE THE GLAMOUR TOAD. I accept this. I ACCEPT THIS.
I get so few moments to utilize my avatar.

Well I guess it depends if you are a surface kind of person or one who looks a little deeper... Unfortunately the studies of St Peter for The Last Supper which do resemble Solas are locked by museums, here's a close up view of St Peter...

Siha, je t'aime; 사랑해 (saranghae); te amo ab imo pectore et in aeternum.
How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace.
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle-light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with a passion put to use
In my old griefs, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints, --- I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life! --- and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.
Browning, Sonnet 43
