I've heard great things about Inquisition but at the moment the only thing I've got that can run it is an Xbox 360. How is Inquisition on that system? If it's at the same level as Dragon Age: Origins graphically that's fine with me, but if it's any worse than that I'll wait until I get another system in the future. I've been hearing some murmurs about the game being a mess on the 360 and figured I'd ask about it here.

Thanks in advance.

My first playthrough was on 360 and I am now playing on pc. pc graphics are much better on medium to high/ultra settings and obvioiusly frame rate can be better too (depending on your system). 360 had a lot of texture pop up, but I enjoy the game anyway. I didn't think it was such a mess considering the old hardware. But that is my opinion. It depends on what you are looking for out of the game. Story, gameplay and all is the same in all platforms, although you might find pc mouse/keyboard annoying (i am playing with a xbox controller on pc).

It works well for me personally, but a lot of people have bugs, some of which make the game crash a lot and unplayable. It's also likely to be problems with textures and you cannot have either scars or freckles. So it seems like there's a chance of it working well or not at all.

I have DAI for Xbox 360.  My 360 is a relatively newer model (MW3 Bundle, 320 GB HDD, manufactured sometime in 2012 I think).  Also, I recently spent about $110.00 USD to upgrade to a 500 GB HDD.  I play on a 27" Flat screen CRT TV; meaning the TV is large (not thin) but the screen is not Convex, like some older SDTV's were.  Also, my TV only has Composite and S-Video (no Component or HDMI).  Taking everything into consideration, I have put about 210 hours into DAI so far on my 1st playthru.  I am currently taking a break, awaiting the release of The Black Emporium.  I have only had 1 Freeze the entire time and have encountered no major bugs.  None of my quests have been broken and I have had no NPCs disappear.  The graphics are decent but nothing special.  My biggest gripe with the graphics is the fair amount of pop-in / pop-up.  Also, the text is a little small but Patch 5 (latest Patch) is supposed to allow you to adjust text size.  Unlike the PC, Xbox One and PS4, DAI for Xbox 360 / PS3 does not support scars.  However, it does have all of the Content that the game has for PC, Xbox One and PS4 (meaning all of the in-game regions and quests are there).  As long as you can deal with slightly dated graphics, the game is fun.  If graphics are a very big concern and if you have the finances to purchase an Xbox One or PS4 (or will in the not too distant future), then you might want to hold off on purchasing DAI until you can afford an Xbox One or PS4.

My biggest concern on the 360 would be the load times.....my brother is playing on the 360, and said that this aspect is kinda rough

I would suggest waiting. I played it on 360 and beat it. I just got xbox one and it runs so much better and looks beautiful. I ran in to a lot of bugs on 360

The game really looks beautiful and runs smooth on current gen consoles. I wouldn't want to play on last gen consoles. I would say playing on last gen would be like looking at the world needing glasses. Playing on current gen is like finally getting glasses and marveling how the leaves on trees look. At least thats how I felt when my vision was corrected in my youth.  :P

It depends how much you want to play the game. Some XBOX360 players are very fed up with the game and have already returned it swearing not to buy another Bioware game ever again. Some don't mind crappy graphics (graphics overall are very inconsistent and some part way below DAO at least on PS3, some part they are better) and occasional freezing and lagging. However there is also players who still can't play the game with XBOX360 due to it crashing all the time or disk unreadable error on XBOX360. So I think it depends how badly you want to play the game, but if you can buy XBONE or something else soon I'd suggest you to wait because last gen version is really washed out, it's like crappy pirate version of the same game.

Though I did get it for PS3 although I knew it would be crappy and it is.. but it's Dragon Age game so I had to buy it anyways :P

Played it for 200 hours or so on 360. Obviously the graphics aren't going to look anywhere as good as on the current-gen consoles, so be prepared for trees fading into existence just a few meters away from your characters, occasionally horrible textures, and some heavy load times. I am still astonished at how much worse than the Mass Effect games Inquisition looks.

In terms of gameplay, story, and controls, the game is great, no complaints there. I laughed, I cried, I killed a shitton of demons.

I have it for 360, and I have never experienced anything bad with glitches at all, and it bugs me when people say it's terrible for current gen, and when they say how bad the graphics are, because I don't know which version of DAO they played when they say daI looks worse, but the origins game I played doesn't look near as beautiful. It is the same game, so you will essentially get the same experience on any system. If you have the option to get it on a GOOD pc, or either next gen console, then do it, but otherwise its still an amazing game on current gen console.

Its running fine for me so far on my 360.  I do save frequently so that I always have previous saves to revert to if needed.  So far I only had to use that once and the issue resolved with that.  Images look fine too.

Console games are always somewhat limited. No access to mods or editors, very limited control or ability to make changes to your game. This might be somewhat ok for the first playthrough, but after that you'll start wishing you could tailor certain game elements to suit your preferences. As long as you're on a console, you're at the mercy of whatever degree the developers thought should be the extent of your ability to alter the game.

No major problems, aside from the game freezing every now and then.

Got it for PS3 and apart from the graphics, the game works. Seems like they just plain didn't care about last-gen consoles. I suspect that if the game was last-gen only, there would be better graphics. Heck, ME2 had better graphics than DAI on last-gen consoles and that game was released years ago.
