Eh I'm okay with that actually because DAI kind of left it in a good spot so even if the next installment sucks I can pretend it never happened lol.

I just hope the new game is a fantasy one. I don't really like sci-fi or shooters. I'm likely to miss out on Gaider's writing if it isn't because I just can't get into sci-fi. :/

So much for having some faith in Mr. Weekes OP. Sure,I'll miss Gaider's contribution to the series and amazing characters,in fact he wrote many of mystery faves, but Patrick Weekes is also an excellent writer.

I'm personally looking forward to Mr. Gaider's project and the next Dragon age tittle.

OP apparently likes Weekes.

He's just a kneejerk drama queen that made this thread before even bothering to see who was replacing Gaider.

Gonna have to disagree here, finding something cheesy is personal taste which is fine BUT this is not a broadway musical it is a video game, original music and lyrics , main characters singing, it was beautifully executed and exquisitely put together, that simply can't be denied

Sorry, but I don't believe in lowering my standards just because it's a video game. Games have the ability to be as good as movies or musicals. To think that games are incapable of matching them does this medium a disservice. Besides, the singing just didn't make any sense from a logical standpoint. They're a massive group of people who believe that Corypheus is out hunting for them, so they decide to sing loudly for all to hear? No. I don't mind if characters broke into song, but it has to be done at the right moment. That was not the right moment.
