Does anyone know where I can find a reference for distances between places in Thedas?

Especially travelling times between various locations and Skyhold.

I can't seem to find anything that specifically mentions this or travelling times (by horse or foot) that soldiers or the inquisitor has to make.

She has a spreadsheet too, she did a stellar job working it all out. Hope it helps!

Since skyhold is in the northern center of the frostbacks, you'll probably have to guesstimate. I'd say pick Haven as your start point since they can't be too far off.

I seem to recall Dagna saying it took two weeks to get from Orzammar to the Circle Tower in Ferelden. Probably the best time scale to base things off of that we have, though terrain might have something to do with it.

Sounds about right though, generally. DA:O took place over a year, the vast majority of that would have been off-screen travel time. It'd be a bit weird if one could get across Ferelden in 8 days with that time frame.

The distances both in this link and on earlier maps seem to be really short. A messenger could perhaps travel like that, but this doesn't seem to be right for people travelling with any gear, having priorities other than getting to destination ASAP. Also, additional cost of travelling outside major trade routes and through mountains seems greatly underestimated.

So, basically, unless you're travelling light, using only major routes with speed as your top priority, I don't think those distances are right.
