Also Bioware isn't hating the Dalish by making them just as bad as everyone else they're just being consistent.

Yep, that's the impression I get. Every culture is heavily flawed in some aspect, and for the Dalish the way they view their past is one such flaw. I find the "3 mage rule" retcon annoying, but not because it makes Dalish culture look worse, but because it goes against explicitly spelled-out lore in an earlier game.

The 3 mages-rule confused me too. I thought they would see magic as a gift.

Pretty much this.

 

Although... I must admit, in future games it would be a good idea for a character that is very pro Dalish, to the point of hating on every other race and being vocal about it.

 

And I know we've had Merrill.. so I'm thinking maybe a male, who's good with a bow and makes very racist statements, particularly about humans.

 

Think.. Sera, in reverse.

I'm not sure was Merrill really Elven or some unpainted extra from Avatar?

I want Lavellan Inquisitor burning down dirty shemlen villages for case of heresy.
I want elvish witchhunters go ransack that useless Redcliffe for every mage they could find.

I want Durgenlens chained and working 24/7 to equip my Inquisition with the best possible gear.

 

I can't get that.

Well, from the "technical viewpoint", some of us discussed how brothels make a good environment to implement story plots and quests, i.e what they did with DA:2.

 

Other reasons... we're just perverts. Not that you can actually see anything, you more or less just lose your money for no goddamn reason. But hey... it's all about the idea.

Like i said Brothels don't excite me the women inside them do, that said i've had no reason to pay for sex yet.... stress yet..

 

To be honest if any sex isn't exciting you are doing it wrong..

Ahh. Elven companions that don't hate elves...

 

I really do think it'd be interesting to have one that has grown up in a clan all of their lives, and has to help the PC in some way or another (depending on "role").

 

Although I must admit, I really did enjoy Sera's take on the whole thing. It was quite amusing, and unexpected.

Until now, we got only pro Dalish (Ariane, Velanna, Merrill) indifferent to both City and Dalish Elves (Zevran, Fenris, Solas) and one anti elves (Sera). Having a pro City Elf individual would be appreciated. Maybe an elf blooded human? someone who is the opposite to Michel the Cevain, and care about his elven eritage.

 

Or at least meet more than one clan of Dalish at time, so we can see how different are the clan one from the other?

 

I'm very annoyed by the new "rule of three" of the mages in the clans. And even more about the banish of children with magic. Is not very understandable. Even if a clan have too many mages, the child would have been send to another clan, I find it a waste and inhuman to send the child away.
