Loving the mouse look, storage, and tint! Wow, Bioware, you really do care!
Patch 5 is fantastic!

That this doesn't happen is why they said mouselook is a feature still in development. They're working on that.

If they fix that, the controls would be perfect. My only other gripe is the awkward tactical view camera. They should make it so the camera has no collision with objects. Also fix the party ai, so that player commands overide the ai behaviors. IE: if, i click on a party member to attack a target, that party member should stick to that target unless otherwise specified.

I think changing the collision behaviour of the tactical camera is non-trivial. You can deactivate collision, but then the camera zooms through walls and you won't be able to see anything because the wall blocks your view. They'd have to dynamically change the transparency of selected areas. I think it's safe to say it won't happen in a patch, if at all.
As it is, with the better zoom, the toggle-able pause and the ability to click-to-move, the tactical camera is now usable, and enjoyable in most combat situations. it's not as versatile as DAO's and DA2's, but that's a different debate.
As for the mouselook problem, while I don't know what will ultimately be fixed in the next patch, patch 6 is already in testing.

Oh please.
Microsoft and Sony have their own requirements and certification processes. PC doesn't.
Or simply put, Microsoft and Sony don't allow you to beta test patches on consoles.

"... a mysterious underground shop run by an immortal proprietor. There, Inquisitors can find powerful artifacts and tools to aid their cause, purchase epic weapons, powerful accessories, new crafting materials and schematics, and even change their voice and facial appearance using the Mirror of Transformation."
From what I saw, there is no Mirror of Transformation on Patch 5?

I have heard that Black Emporium will appear in Patch 6 and the beta for patch 6 has closed (very fast)

The Black Emporium will be published separately from any patch.

What's mouse look??
The ability to change where you look by moving the mouse. It was in DAI, but you had to hold down the RMB to keep it on. Now there's an option to have it on all the time, and activate/deactivate it with a key. There is a bug that makes it deactivate if you loot something, which limits its usefulness, and it doesn't work seamlessly with the tac cam, that's why they said it's a feature still in development, but they're working on that.
I can only say this new feature drastically reduces the strain on my fingers, since I used to hold down the RMB almost all the time in order to keep mouselook on.

Best patch for me since launch no doubt ![]()
Among other things my game runs better, A LOT BETTER, I've got an auto-attack key (I'd still like it on my mouse though), I've got a good overview with the tac cam, and yes, storage chest ![]()

Yes, same here.
Assuming they fix the little mouselook bug, all that's left for my complete happiness with DAI - story-related criticisms excluded but that's ok - is the ability to wear my armor in Skyhold and the Black Emporium. The BE is on the way....so PLEASE do something about that horrible outfit, Bioware. I hate to depend on third-party software that becomes unusable with every patch.

I'm loving the patch too. Armour tinting makes me incredibly happy. I couldn't stand that 90% of the T2 and up rogue armours had no main cloth slot, so they looked drab even with a fade-touched cloth masterwork.
IDK this sounds like such a minor gripe but it was really bugging me. Now I can have Sera wear appropriately garish patterns even high-level!
Speaking of, I've played about an hour and so far I haven't had an archer run into melee once. They even seemed to try to take high ground? This is so great.

Well hello there awesome Skyhold outfits. Now if we could just get Bioware to add these officially into the game ![]()

For old-gen, the new patch bring a handfull of new bugs. Like the fact that the lips of the main character stay closed during conversations. New bugs. No fix. Great patch for us, yeah...

@Hexoduen:
Where is that from? And btw, retextures don't work for me, since part of the problem with the outfit is that it's so close-fitting it doesn't fit the setting. It feels like glorified pajama regardless of color.

Ieldra: it's one of Horography's retextures. (her tumblr has a dwarf female she didn't put on the Nexus) Her human female and human male are expecially outstanding IMO, but she does wonderful things with texturing. And design.

How about the tactical cam angle, I think it is more useful if it was not so vertical when we zoom out. That change should not be so hard to do.

Thanks. Only for males, too bad, but browing the mods I have to say I need to revise my opinion about what can be done with retexturing. Some of those are really nice.
