I got an error message saying the download failed.  I went to retry and now it says I have to buy is for 1200 points.  Everything else (rings and armor) downloaded just fine.

I'm sure it'll clear up at some point but I'd hate to have to sit on the phone for 2 hours to get the code reset.

Anyone else have this happen with DLC?

Confirm you can see it in your dlc list here:

If so, can you check if it is sitting in your 'in progress' tab (middle tab) - assuming you are on PC? If you select it, do you get a 'download' button option at the bottom of the content description on the right?

Yes.. listed as 'Shale'. It started downloading, got about half way through, gave me an error. Now instead of retry I get 'Buy'. I'll give it a day, just curious if anyone else had seen it.

Follow up: I click 'Buy' and it tells me I already own it and should go to the same screen I'm already on and click 'Begin Download"... except the only button is 'Buy'. Hamster is a cage!
