Ok, in my ME1 playthrough, i was nice to conrad and chose the pargon option. Now in me2 when i met him in a place i won't say where to spoil, he is being a huge jackass and claimed i shoved a gun in his face the last time we met.

What gives?? Is this a bug?

I had the same issue. I was nice to conrad in ME1, talked him into going home, and now he's saying I stuck a gun in his face. Conrad being crazy or bug?

It's not a bug, devs just decided to go that way with it

Actually, it IS a bug. According to the savegame editor, it flags both you being nice and renegade to him.

Yes, I know about and I tested it, which is why I'm certain it's not a bug

I unchecked "intimitaded Conrad", started NG+, did a speed run to Illium and I can confirm that there's absolutely no difference, Conrad still says the same thing

Odd, in a thread on the campaign board someone said that unchecking "intimidated" caused a news report about his Children's aid (or orphanage, w/e) foundation.

No, that happens if you resolve his ME2 quest succesfully

Excuse me.

How is shooting him in the foot and telling him to GTFO not a resounding success?

They kept rambling about how treating conrad would carry over to the next game, and now they dropped the ball on this one as well.

They also said that your ME1 will actually make an impact in ME2

And for ME1 they said there'll be a customizable MAKO, an interrupt system, destructible environment, that you could leave your armor covered with blood, that each world will be big as Morrowind and long as a KOTOR world and that you could change the appearance of your weapons

Conclusion?

As Spaerus noted above, Conrad is bat**** insane - Not sure they dropped the ball on it.

I agree. I dont think its a bug just that with him only being there as a nod to the fact you played ME1 they didn't feel the need to waste dev time on more interactions with him.

To bad you can't drag his sorry ass back to Earth yourself i know i would given the chance! Lets hope he learns a lesson from the likely constant threats from players! Image IPB

Remember when you took the photo shoot and held up your gun? His mental instability probably took that the wrong way.

Its funnier if you just shoot him and tell him to GTFO, you get a different news thing in the hall to the area of Illium where the weapon shop is.

I prefer kicking him in the nuts. More amusing, imo.
