The reason why Dragon Age became my favorite game was because it's setting, story and characters, so thank you for your work.

Thanks Mr Gadier for your wonderful work in this series. It is bitter sweet. I hope it is another KOTOR (regular RPG not the MMO) . I loved those games.

I can't say I'm a fan of yours, but credit where credit is due. Thank you for all, well most, of your work in the Dragon Age franchise David Gaider.

I've enjoyed the games but I don't know enough about his work to say much about it. I am curious about this next project though. I wonder if he might want to try a game that doesn't involve so much if any player choice to better free him up to tell the story he wants. I have to think the fans complaining about how they were punished for this choice or that choice has to get very old.
Well hopefully he enjoys whatever he's doing.

I felt like I'd been punched in the gut when my friend told me Mr. Gaider was leaving the DA franchise. Thank you so much for the work you put into making the DA universe amazing and good luck on your next project. You will be missed ![]()

Agreed. I am not doom and gloom about the future of DA and I understand that he must be ready to move on now, but it's a bit sad to think that Dragon Age has lost its longtime Word of God. Thanks for all your work DG - we'll always have Paris Alistair.

I'm really going to miss David's influence on this game; he's a feminist ally and I adore him for helping to shape this series into something that I feel comfortable playing. It's so rare to find a game that doesn't alienate me with objectification of my gender. As much as I'm going to miss his DA writing, I'm glad that he will be able to shape the new IP. Here's to hoping for a new game that I'll enjoy as much as DA!

Thanks Mr. Gaider. Have thoroughly enjoyed your contributions to Bioware games, present and past.
Now I am really interested in this new project because I'm guessing it is so cool Mr. Gaider just HAD to be a major part of it and he was willing to let go of the lead on a project that is probably pretty dear to him.

David Gaider, you've been responsible for so many of my favorites, I'm going to miss you tremendously. I was a little staggered when I heard.
I am grateful and excited for Weekes' work, however, so here's to what we have to look forward to.
