After the release of patch 5 (yesterday) I experienced a strange lag that never happened before. My char were walking slowly, very slowly and everything was delayed (I was dying before the demon commander appeared from underneath). I tried to host a game, just to see if the problem was still there and yes, I was slowly reaching the door. The other player who joined me left, probably because the lag was big. Usually the lag for me is the char walking always in the same place, or walking and going back.

I was wondering if anybody experienced this kind of lag after the patch. I suspect that it can be related to graphic settings, but I'm not sure. I put everything back to medium-low, even the shader and now I can't see the scars on my Inquisitor when I use CC.

Since it happens when you host and you said it is different from rubberbanding, it is probably not lag.

Are you noticing lower FPS?

Does it always happen after patch?

I get some nasty fps drops sometimes as well. As if the fps becomes locked at 15 and the only thing I can do is restart my computer which is really strange. Like just a moment ago, I was stuck in an infinite load screen. Only thing I could do there was to end the process in order to exit the game. After that, dragon age's fps was very low and unplayable.

Had horrible rubber banding in most games last night for some reason.  I was not hosting.

When I first started playing last night my character seemed painfully slow. Although this could be a result of playing DBZ Xenoverse where I can fly around fast as hell

The same thing happens to me on occasion, but no other game does this. Alt+F4 = not responding, then task manager is slow to respond as well, so I'm sat there for ~30s unable to do anything, wondering if the group wiped.

I haven't noticed any changes to connectivity, at least, host or otherwise. A few random issues but nothing consistently different.

I experienced it on PC first joining a private game and then hosting, that's why I thought it was a problem related to the pc or the connection and not lag.

Then, sometimes I get stucked on the black screen or, when I look for public games, I often get the message "Error: You have lost your connection with the section". This happened many times before the patch, now I have the slow movement. I repaired the game and changed graphic settings to see if something improved. I'm going to try it now
