I really liked mixing when I was playing with helmets on or off a lot during ME3 and DA:I, so it was kind of a bummer you had to go all the way into settings every time you wanted to change it when in ME1 we could just toggle/untoggle in inventory.

I think NME needs "press H/B/O to retract helmet" (not to be confused with HBO) during conversations and in full-on Dead-Space style your character's space-helmet disassembles in real-time during conversations.

Of course you could use it to break immersion by spamming it making the conversation really silly, but that can't be avoided since it's a video game. We love to break the tone multiple times in every playthrough by doing unintended things like jumping or shooting when the game wants us to be in the moment. But whatever.

Shame this setting can't accommodate Star Trek Elite Forces solution to the helmet issue. Basically all the crap you were carrying around was stored in a personal transporter buffer so it could be materialized at will.

Best explanation for the amount of equipment one person can carry in an FPS I've ever seen.

I could see that happening at some point (and I want it), but given the art shown of NME so far, I don't think it'll be plausable for it.
