Maybe its a zombie game. With romances.
OOOH, Call on me!
So Biwoare has done high fantasy, scifi, kungfu, and mecha games. What they havent done is a urban fantasy game. It would be awesome if they did something in line with the Dresden Files, kinda of like a multiplayerless Shadow Realm.
All games that EA publishes are now required to have some sort of online component to them. This started in 2012. I'm not trying to correct you or anything, I just want you to know that vision will not come to pass (at least until a new guy steps in) so that you don't get your hopes up for it.

Maybe its a 3rd person cover shooter rpg.
That would be cool
Resident Evil 8, with ME3 cover system and stuff...
The Sims 5. Bioware can do it better!
I'd personally like a Horror/Shooter RPG.

That could be cool. Honestly whatever they do I just hope the combat is good.
I would like it if it was a Blade Runner like genre, sci fi but gritty and mucky and dark and acid rainy and neon signs sizzling in the acid rain and a faceless overlord sytem of government.
Or
A Victorian horror type of game but party based.

You could fight werewolves in Victorian London!

A Victorian horror type of game but dinner party based. Maybe with charades.

I agree, I've always thought that combat has been Bioware's weakest part of their games (with the exception of Mass Effect 2 and 3).
Their stories are fairly strong and the choices are sometimes great (although, they were incredibly weak and pointless in Inquisition, in my opinion).
I'm just happy that Gaider has a chance to work on something fresh, I bet he was getting tired of writing under the same setting over and over for 10 years. I have enough of a hard time staying focused while writing 18 pages of fan fiction ![]()
I think a fresh writer is what Dragon Age needs and a think a fresh experience is what Mr. Gaider needs. I don't mean that his writing was bad or anything, he did a great job! It's just that I feel like we might get to see something quite a bit different with Dragon Age in the future and I think that is what the series needs. When writers write they tend to develop a pattern over a period of time and might fall into the trap of having the same ideas and morals be included in each of their works which could make things get a bit stale when they are doing a series. They also might start to suffer a bit of burnout in the passion/enthusiasm department, I'm don't believe that he had got to that point, but it probably wasn't far off, 10 years on a single project is a long time.
Best regards to Mr. Gaider!
Tutt tutt old boy, pass the sherry if you will. First word....nose, touching nose.....side of nose......scissors......cutting......I've god it old bean! Jack the Ripper!
I would like an rpg that replaces fighting or shootingwith another type of mechanism.
Something different, same model tho.
Arguing and stabbing?

So did you and Gmag go on a date yet or nah? I see the sexual tension.
Gaider gets his revenge on the fanbase and cuts all the romances.
I'm very happy for him. I think working on the same game might get really tedious after a while. I'm glad he is on to something fresh. I bet the freedom is going to do him some good and he will enjoy it. Just don't know if DA will get better or worse.

I really like the fighting tho. But It could be way better.
Im not sure how to make party based combat better, but im sure theres a way. So if the game HAS to be party based I just want a fun system that feels good and is satisfying.

I'm still waiting tbh. Right now he is on the moon taking pics for me tbh and when he'll be back we'll go on that date tbh.

It's since been reveals that "online component" does not mean multi-player, but rather some type of connectivity. Apparently even something as little as the Dragon Age Keep would have satisfied that. They just wanted the MP in there because Mass Effect 3 MP.
Frank just sucked at saying it.
I mean, The Sims 4 doesn't have co-op or deathmatch(although honestly, that could only improve the series).

They're making a sequel. ![]()

I just got a hilarious mental image of Sims just killing each other every time you choose the "Fight" option. Can you actually make enemies in the Sims 4? I saw that the game was gutted beyond belief so I don't know what options are in it compared to Sims 3.

Cassandra Saturn: "Back when my mother died and I had to babysit my fourth brothers at the age of four, I had no one but myself. Troubled by the voices in my head and my Mafia-boss father this game just took me into a world I have never seen before! The magic of being able to see the man's body up-close and digital was such an erotic experience.... Korra."

CRAZYRah: "Couldn't play since Chewin needed to be taken to the Old Folks Home."
E-Ro: "New York isn't in Canada."
Isichar: "Why can't I access the anime thread?"
simfamSP: "lolwtf."
Leo8Skylar: "I loved the imagery and how AI are represented. People sterotype synthetics to be nothing more than tools! This is wrong on so many levels. I've heard this game being called sexist on numerous occasions, but I think people simply do not understand. 'Grabbing' (as the masses like to put it) is no more than a metaphor for sexual liberation of the oppressed beorgeoisuises and a fine call back to David Leench's masterpiece Deadly Peaks."
AND SO MUCH MORE!

So does anyone know what Gaider's role on this new game will be? Obviously a writer but are we talking lead writer or just a writer?
Also I am guessing this is the new IP referred to in the E3 ME4 teaser but anyone have any idea what it could be?

Is this an image of the new IP or was it merely just an image of the next Mass Effect they showed while the coincidentally happened to be talking about the new IP sending people mixed messages? Looks like a pre-fab housing unit with a discarded washing machine out front.
