I'm not reading through patch stuff because after I saw what happened to my friend's game I figured I'd sit a few patches out until it's stable.

I'm not going to download a patch until they have more hair options for women.

Did that happen yet or do we still all have only the David Bowie/androgenous choices?  If I have to wear what is basically the male Marine Corps dress blues as a female to a fricking ball at least let me have long hair.

Nothing yet but thanks to a no sideburns mod that does work with patch 5 if you place it in the patch folder only, my female Inquisitor looks lovely with shoulder-length hair!

Dear Bioware,

You guys need some tough love. I love you guys, but....... You guys fail at Hair, you've always failed at hair.

Are you going to continue being mean to your customer base? OR will you simply unlock your files so us modders can fix the hair issue for you?

I can make hair ten times better than any of your 3D modelers and I do this as a HOBBY. LOL. How pathetic is that?

Simple solutions:

1) release an executable that decrypts and unpacks all the game files so they can be easily modified and then re-encrypted re-packed into the proper format.

2) add a DLC hair pack expansion for five dollars

3) fire all your 3d modelers, it's obvious they are taking advantage of you and their hearts are not into the job

OR

4) maybe your 3d modelers are underpaid, EA has a bad reputation for slaving their employees, maybe you should increase their pay by 20%.

I'm a hobbiest, but even I have a full understanding of Havok based physics (thanks to Skyrim).  Does DAI have any type of physics system in place? Us modders could easily add physics based hair, something you guys aren't smart enough to know how to do.

This post is nothing but tough love, hopefully you don't get all emotional. Man up and fix the hair god damn it.

Need money? Give me your paypal, I'll paypal you guys $50.00, maybe we should start a kickstarter to fund multiple things that DAI desperately needs.

I would help fund it.  Maybe it would shame them into actually responding with hair.

I'm sure there are people that love bald.  Some may even love bald women (Amber Rose) but not everyone like bald hair or short hair on women (or men).  I love Genderf--k but like not in my medieval business, k?

There are long hair options. They're just up-dos, so no one can drag you around by your hair in the middle of a fight. :P

lol

I really don't understand the hair not being better by now in BW games (ME3... okay... but DAI?).

If the next ME game doesn't have significantly better hair, then I'll be weirded out, but okay, lots of helmets at play, fine, maybe, ugh.

But the next DA game having the same condition will be an utter joke. Haha.

Its just pretty weird at this point. I'm sure there's lot of technical matters about it all. But I don't care.

YOU did this mod?

Well, then I should clap your shoulder.

I haven't used your mod, but I have downloaded it. I found out it was not compatible with Patch 2. I refuse to upgrade. I want the exploits.

Oh lol no I found it. The creator deserves all the credit! It was thanks to someone here I learned how to work around patch 5 with it. I only do mods for Sims.

Moving hair seems waaaay more difficult....and then you get the amusing yet annoying hair glitches...

(also I am uncertain whether it could even be implemented in Inquisition at this point....maybe the next game, but I doubt Inquisition)

I'd just be happy if they included a few more styles. Static hair is a-okay with me. Just more styles please! Like these

I feel like these wouldn't be horrendously difficult to implement! But what do I know! XD Now I'm rambling but can we have braids Bioware? :3

Yessssss.  I like.  Not sure what Bioware's problem is on this one.  They can make dragons that fly but I can't have a nice shoulder length bob?

I don't buy that they can't after seeing Isabella and Hawk's and Merrill's hair options.  Women now have 18 million bald styles and maybe 4-5 "hair" that mostly includes me looking like Ellen Degeneres when I'd rather look like Portia.

Bioware, wassup?  Let's talk.

I was talking earlier about this with a friend and we were going over Mass Effect screenshots. I thought I would never say this but I miss the "Shepard bun" so much

Huge pictures ahead. Beware.

Clipping shouldn't really be a problem. At least, it isn't for gear. Some of the gear you can equip clips so badly... Try wearing just about any shield with an Orlesian Helmet. Or, more cutscene relevant, a Noble Shield with any coat coat. Weapons sticking through the coat.

Really, you gotta wonder why they even put the coats in the game...

I don't mind clipping so much (the hair mods for Origins do that a ton, but my warden looks so much better with long flowing tresses....:P)

I was thinking glitches like these:

Like...can you imagine having a serious conversation with an LI or making a crucial decision, and your hair is just whipping all over the place? XD

Agreed about the coats/shields. There are probably better options that would either remain flat or cover the bottom half  of the head/helmet entirely and just completely skip past fitting around...

Body movement is not their strong point. I think hair is slightly higher on their skill list than natural body movements.

I wish the hair in the tarot cards were playable, they look a lot better than the one available in CC. :(

On top of 80% of the hair being buzzcuts, almost all hairs, even some of the ones that aren't buzzcuts, show FREAKING MALE PATTERN BALDNESS. What.

So there are maybe three hairstyles that are actually usable for a female character. I mean, look at all the Inquisitor photo threads, almost all of them use the same hairstyles. This is for a reason.

Best case scenario:

-New hairstyles are added to CC. Still static, but better than the weird baldness overwhelming the options (???!?!?!?!?!?!)

-Black Emporium is a free DLC

-Players love Bioware and buy all further $ DLC out of gratitude

I'm pretty sure Bioware hires people out of India to do the hair.  These are beginner level 3d modelers who get paid $0.74 cents an hour.  EA/Bioware give them eight hours to make hair. So every hair model you see in DA Inquisition costs EA about $5.92.
