I know some people have fears of spiders or heights or the dark. Which is pretty normal I think. I somewhat have a fear of heights and the dark too. I can't go to sleep with the lights on after watching a scary movie. Heights make me hyperventilate a bit.

But nothing compares to my trypophobia! I never even knew it had a name until just recently. I get terrified at the sight of small bunched up circles, holes, little bubbles... etc. Everyone thought I was crazy when I would explain it to people. Even I thought I was crazy! But it's actually a real thing. Just thinking about it makes my skin crawl. I think it all started when I was little and saw a documentary on frogs and one of them was carrying its eggs on its back. I was horrified at the sight!

So, do you have a phobia?

Sharing that info here is a bad idea. Someone could use it against you.

They are certainly creepy. But I think I'd rather have a spider crawling on my face than having to look at little circles things lol.

Who isn't?

Mild closure phobia. Like as long as I can completely move my joints and stand up or lay down, then I'm fine. But one time my high school friends thought it would be funny to sneak up on me with a big ass roll of bubble wrap, quickly grab me and proceed to wrap me in it. Ended up hyperventilating and passing out. Don't worry I got 'em back by opening their windows at the crack of dawn and spraying them down with the water hose in the dead of winter (winter here is a joke btw. Last time it snowed here, it was 1996. And it wasn't even snow, more like slush. So they were fine, just cold with their balls inside them.)

And katsaridaphobia. It's irrational and stupid, I know, but I suppose those feelings is what makes us human.

There's nothing I fear to the point that I would lock up or hyperventilate or anything of the sort.

Heights can make me feel uneasy if I'm not secured to something solid but I wouldn't have any issues with say, skydiving.

That's about the extent of my phobias.

Unless you count the fear of every PC game suddenly requiring Games For Windows Live.

Clowns.

Clowns are the worst. I had an experience with a mime that I was never able to shake.

I am taking notes on everyone's fears. When the time comes for me to rise up you will all be helpless.

It's rational. When you fall you'll be smashed and splashed.

Sharks and getting burnt, or more specifically, being on a wooden boat in the ocean at dark when it catches fire and the only thing you can see in the water are fins. I make it a point to never do that.

The other is, you know when you are driving and the car in front of you all of a sudden blows up and all you can see is fire and smoke and they tell you, you should drive straight to where you last saw the blown up car. That seems really counter intuitive.

I used to be scared of seeing heads without faces.

Heights make me a bit uneasy still.

Spiders. F*ck spiders fam.

My brother too.

He's this 6ft (182.8cm) 26 year old average build guy btw. One time I was going into the garage to work on my car and I looked to my left down the hall. My brother was about to walk into the bathroom.. he doesn't even make it half way in the door when he just randomly yelped and jumped back so far that he tumbled into my room, and landed on his ass.

I went in the bathroom...

There was a spider the size of my pinky nail in there..

I got chased by too many as a kid to ever have a positive view of them.

I've felt uneasy in an elevator full of people, but other than that, never had a scarier experience like you. Getting back at your friends must have felt good though :D

I had to google katsaridaphobia. I'm okay with them actually. They're still gross though.

Clowns.

After reading Stephen King's IT, I was scared of clowns too.

Precisely! I hate them all but I wont get them killed lol. I usually get them thrown outside and now that I live alone I HAVE to deal with them myself, so I close my eyes almost completely and have this long stick kinda thing I point out towards the spiders/bugs etc and get them to get up on them and then I quickly push them out the window haha.

Acrophobia

Only time it's bad is when I perceive a risk of falling to my death, such as at edges of high cliffs or outcroppings, or outside decks of highrise buildings. I'm fine at any elevation if I'm indoors. Have never flown in a plane, and hope I never have to.

I don't know if it classifies as a phobia, but I don't react well to needles.

As in last time I had to take a shot, I tore the arm off the wooden chair I was sitting in.

Everything else I'm fine with.
