Nuts to the Qun I say. I'm no fan of the Imperium, but it's good for one thing: giving the oxmen drones a hard time.
I'm just waiting for the Fex lizard people to show up

Fex, not Vex.
Fex, not Vex.

I'm curious if this is just a generational difference going on.
Like, how many Gen Y posters are here? I could've sworn they had a greater capacity for tolerance. It's a postmodern generation. "Everything's valid in some light."
I get the impression that many are Gen Y.
@Rekkampum: The way they've gone about this 'representation' is awkward, though. Randomly bringing up that you've got breasts (?) in conversation for no real reason, when it's likely assumed that you're a man anyway, is not the way I'd have gone about it. If there had been an option to refer to Krem accidentally as woman in a conversation, and then having Krem's response be something like, "No, I'm a man actually", would have been much better, if you ask me. As it is, it's just awkward and unnatural.
I've gotta disagree. The conversation is optional. You can ignore it entirely when it comes up. The only thing I didn't like about the dialogue was how they had to make your Inquisitor look clueless, but aside from that gripe I felt they handled it well. Krem had also teased Bull before about the harness he wore, so it didn't feel out of place that it was referenced again.

"You phones are all racists." - upset Fex trying to get a carriage. ![]()
Now lets imagine the uproar if Maevaris is a romance in DA4 and the only way to know she is a trans woman is if you romance her. It would be glorious to see BSN explodes and "shoving the gay agenda into out throats" arguments would make me laugh.
People would have legitimate reasons to get upset about that.

it will be so on point ![]()
(I don't think it will be done though)

You're bringing back nightmares from Fight For the Love.
So you are fine with women being used for sex without their consent? After all, you can't change your role in the Qun so they have no say in the matter.
This is Bioware. They're not going to subtly create that implication; if the implication was meant to be there, it'd be obvious. So I'm fairly sure that consent is still a thing.
I'm just waiting for the Fex lizard people to show up you they look
+ points if they look like Jar Jar Binks.
Im not so sure, I think they will try it, but they would offer 2 cis woman ( is it the right term?) and would make Maevaris a "extra" romance.it will be so on point

I wouldnt romance her myself, but I would laugh at the topics it would generate.People would have legitimate reasons to get upset about that.

Except Bioware has made it obvious that in the Qun you get no say in your role once you get it. So by definition there is no consent.
Keep it up with that tamassran talk or i'll do something drastic.

I think that not all tamassrans perform that service, and I don't think that one is prevented from ever being able to change a position within a role. Otherwise, there'd be no promotions or demotions.

Would be very risque and actually not very politically correct.
Maevaris is married anyway, right?
Maevaris is married anyway, right?
Was just about to post this. I assume the talk is assuming her husband dies.
Edit: Nevermind.
Maevaris is married anyway, right?
Husband's dead.
@Rekkampum: Well, to be honest, I was fairly clueless about it myself when the conversation came up. Initially, I had thought that Krem was a man, then I started to think that Krem was a really butch woman judging by the appearance and voice, so when the option to ask whether Krem was a woman or not really confused me the heck out of me, and I just felt that I had to ask in order to clear my confusion because I genuinely didn't have a clue.
