I've had this game since release and I keep forgetting to ask this question - anyone else have banners in Skyhold that are incomplete? It will just be the metal post, but no cloth in all of my playthroughs. Is there something I've been neglecting to do/purchase/activate? I've tried cycling through them all and the only one that shows up correctly is the Grey Warden banner.

Turns out the banners are all available when you get Skyhold but only in their most basic form. You have to look for upgrades throughout the game. For instance, you need to side with the mages and build the mage tower to fully get the circle banner.

Kind of except Banners are found in chests, and thrones are found doing war table missions
