Hey there. RNG gifted me with the formal attire schematic before I do the palace quest. If I pre-craft formal attire (with the accompanying armor benefits the schematic gives you) will my characters be automatically dressed in that or will they still be dressed in the non-armored version?

Still the non armored, you wear the same outfit in the Winter Palace no matter what you might have crafted.
