I have the GOG version of NWN Diamond.  After using the various turorials found on these forums I have the game installed in the correct folder and properly undated.  The problem I have is with cloaks.  Any cloaks I come across are un-identified, even one's from shops.  When I place a cloak in my inventory everything else on that inventory page disappears until the cloak is moved.  If I equip a cloak my ammy/belt/ring slots all go blank.  I still receive the benefits from the cloak but I can not change anything in those slots.  If I log out wearing a cloak when I log in my portrait is black, my character is level 1 with "8" for all his attributes, and I can not move.  If anyone in my party is wearing a cloak their portrait turns to a black if we are on the same map and stays that way.  I used to not see party members until I used the .ini to remove visible cloaks.  Any recommendations on how to fix this problem would be appreciated.

 

I suspect that the .hak file for the server I play on is interacting badly with GOG NWN but I none of the build team are still around.

I downloaded and perused the haks for this PW. I'm not seeing anything that would create the issue you've described.

 

What I do see is that there is no baseitems.2da included in their haks. Have you played on a PW or even a single player module that used overrides? If so, here's a link to a clean 1.69 override folder. Link:  http://neverwinterva...ide-patch-files

Yeah we've been trying to find the original SF cloak hak fix cos this problem used to happen a lot. Glad that you were finally able to get it sorted.
