In Mass Effect 2, it's Amaranthe - Danger Zone.
In Mass Effect 3, it's Amaranthe - True.
This one, ever and ever!!! ![]()
Hubba Hubba Zoot Zoot by Caramba.
Oh wait, you meant Shepard's theme song, not mine. Whoops.
...or for any Destroy Shep for that matter.
I need to make a playlist of all these songs. ![]()
After further speculation for my Renegon FemShep, I've settled on Carina Round because she rocks.
I tried so hard and got so far,
but in the end it doesn't even matter.
HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAH THIS IS WHAT I HAVE IN MIND TOO!!! THE END DOES NOT MATTER XD
Especially the underlined bit at the end:
Let's take a moment and break the ice
So my intentions are known
See I have pity in watching you suffer
I know the feeling of being damned alone
I've got a storybook of my own
Don't you see I am your pride,
Agent of wealth,
Bearer of needs? (And you know it's right)
I am your war
Arming the strong
Aiding the weak
Know me by name
Shepherd Shepard of fire
Well I can promise you paradise
No need to serve on your knees
And when you're lost in the darkest of hours
Take a moment and tell me who you see
Won't tell you who not to be
Now you know I am your pride,
Agent of wealth,
Bearer of needs. (And you know it's right)
I am your war
Arming the strong
Aiding the weak
Know me by name
Shepherd Shepard of fire
Disciple of the cross and champion in the suffering
Immerse yourself into the kingdom of redemption
Harden your mind through the chains of the divine
Make way for the shepherd Shepard of fire
Through the ages of time
I've been known for my hate
But I'm a dealer of simple choices
For me it's never too late
I am your pride,
Agent of wealth,
Bearer of needs. (And you know it's right)
I am your war
Arming the strong
Aiding the weak
I am your wrath.
I am your guilt.
I am your lust. (And you know it's right)
I am your law.
I am your scar.
I am your trust.
Know me by name
Shepherd Shepard of fire
Ok, seriously. I have you all beat.
My Shepard's theme:
Beyond Good and Evil by Messiah
It was a time of darkness and destruction. A time of dread. Thanks to the twisted designs of a single man, the machines meant to end war for all time became the executioners of civilization. Humanity's history tells us that such times produce heroes and heroines dedicated to turning back the darkness. And so it was in the twenty second century, the Age of the Machines.
Seriously. Listen.
Is there a hero somewhere, someone who appears and saves the day
Someone who holds out a hand and turns back time
Is there a hero somewhere, someone who will never walk away
Who doesn't turn a blind eye to a crime
Poets of The Fall - Locking up the Sun
Depends on Shepard herself actually. I have several song for her with Kaidan too.
I made a theme song fanvid for one of my ME2's Shep. Its Doctor Who's song, Doomsday.
My general theme song for her post-thessia in ME3. Its a Gayatri mantra used in Battlestar Galactica. Somehow I felt its more appropriate for my tired, bone-weary end-game Shepard...
I think I got way too many theme songs...but one that really sets me in the mood for playing is(or perhaps this is what TIM or Harbinger would sing to my Shepard):
Audioslave - We Got The Whip
Long days and nights you fought for truth
This seems to suit a very renegade femshep. No idea why.
Hmmm...Maybe this. I like the lyrics.
This is one of them. Troubled Wine, by Zakk Wylde. Lyrics in spoiler tags:
Let's have another non-english music. Alt j-rock. I can't find the prettier older music video so this will have to do. There's a translation of this song but it was a bit confusing when translated literally. But you can understand Shiino Ringo's music through her emotions. Its a song filled with anger and frustration... which fits my very angsty Shepard. I translated the last two part of the song so you get my meaning... then again, it can be Kasumi's song as well.
Koe wo daseba donata ka miemashou
For my MShep it's quite perfect because he was earth-born, never knew his parents and eventually started running with gangs. It's about how even when his hopes and dreams were shattered, he knows there can be a better tomorrow.
And no matter what he's been through and what he's seen, he always knew that it must get better. He knows in the end he can brave this storm with his loved one and his friends. His crew. My Shep chooses Destroy and survives.
When I was a kid
I filled bottles with messages of hope
Now we kept clutching broken glass
'Cos all my questions have been answered by a flood
Even those I never asked
All the storms that I've seen
Are countless reasons not to believe
But I know, that as long as there will be rain
There will be clear skies after
Every day under the sky
I stood arms raised in imitation
Watching birds in flight
And now I'm older
Youth has passed me by
But I keep reaching 'til I get what's mine
All the storms, that I've seen
Are countless reasons not to believe
But I know, that as long as there will be rain
There will be clear skies after
No matter how far I go
I know that you are by my side
Together we'll see this through
As long as I am still alive
All the storms, that I've seen
Are countless reasons not to believe
But I know, that as long as there will be rain
There will be clear skies after
There will be rain
There will be clear skies after
There will be rain
There will be clear skies after
Just a Vanguard charging into someones Face and listening to "Can't touch this". ![]()
Mama take this badge from me
I can't use it anymore
It's getting dark too dark to see
Feel i'm knockin' on heaven's door
Knock knock knockin' on heaven's door (3X)
Mama put these guns to the ground
I can't shoot them anymore
Theres a long black train and it's comin' round
Feels like knockin' on heaven's door.
Knock knock knockin' on heaven's door (3X)
Mama wipe this blood from my face
I'm sick and tired of all this war
There's a long hard feelin' and it's hard to chase
Feel i'm knockin' on heaven's door.
Knock knock knockin' on heaven's door (3X)
Yep, my Shepard is the kind of guy who'd be a perfect Spartan.
He's the guy that's going strong when other people's paragon wussie Shepards break down and cry.
If you'd played Halo (or paid attention to something else than the shooting action), you'd know Spartans are on the extreme Paragon end of the scale. All your talk of your Shepard being a stronk, independent unfettered ubermensch who don't need no authority clashes with the Spartan mentality of being but glorified swords and shields for their species, taking orders without question and putting the lives of every other human being before their own. The first Spartan who expressed even the tiniest sliver of Renegade mentality was John-117 when he refused a direct order to allow the captain of the UNSC Infinity destroy Cortana due to her Rampancy problem.
Renegade, unfettered ubermensch do what they want with no concern for consequences and other people's opinions. Spartans do what they're told, and they live only to follow orders and carry them out. Renegades and Spartans are practically polar opposites of one another. So no, your Shepard would not be the perfect Spartan - he'd be the worst Spartan imaginable. He'd be the kind of terrible Spartan they would send another more compliant Spartan to kill.
All of you forget the one and only true theme for Shepard. Never forget that music and experience you had when looking out the window and hearing Anderson and Udina talk about you then seeing those words come across the screen then walking thru the ship in the first sequence showing your personal Shepard. THAT LADIES AND GENTS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE SHEPARD'S THEME!!!! No other MASS EFFECT game Bioware comes out with will ever give you that feeling again, they just can't do it I am sorry.
The TR default male even looks a little like Sheploo.

What better track to pump up morale before ripping off a reaper's cage and breaking your foot out of its eezo core?
