It's mildly amusing to me that people remember things so very differently when it helps them make their opinion look better. I personally seem to recall the BSN aglow with moral outrage that content was so clearly cut from the games (Dragon Age Origins and II) to use as unashamed cash-grab DLC and that Bioware would fail miserably for certain.
As for me, as long as they keep making games I enjoy playing, I'll keep buying them. *shrug*
I remember the rage too, I'm thinking from a business perspective moreso than a consumer one. I don't purchase BioWare games anymore, and I don't begrudge those who do.
A company owned by EA will attempt to profit whenever it can, the lack of a clear vision for future Inquisition products is a little unsettling considering both Origins and Dragon Age 2 had DLC roadmaps already laid out at this point. Maybe Inquisition already has, and they're just keeping it from us, which I accepted was a possibility.
It's not a matter of "BIOWER SUXXX" or "I LUB BIOWARE" or anything like that, it's just unusual to see a company be completely silent considering how many accolades Inquisition has gotten from the mainstream gaming press. Why aren't they leveraging the momentum they supposedly have?
