I don't see why people are making a big deal of the going north for the next game comment. Anybody look where Skyhold is on the map? Parts of Ferelden and Orlais are north of Skyhold. Kirkwall is north of Skyhold, almost the entire inhabited world is north of Skyhold. Most the action in the game even takes place south of Skyold in Haven, the start of the game and the finale take place there.
They could literally set the next game any place but the Kocari Wilds and have it still technically be be north of where Inquisition took place.
Do I think that is going to happen? No. I think we will get Tevinter, but purely because almost no choices made in the previous games will need to be implemented in a Tevinter set game.

The truth is that we don't really now where we will go in the next game. Going north is based on a comment by a dev but we don't know what that entails.
I just only hope we will not be playing "rise of the slaves" in Tevinter. It just sounds so cliche.

They said, basically, that they're done with southern Thedas, kinda going against what you said here.
Maybe Free Marches and/or Nevarra, but I don't expect (at least much of) Orlais, and I don't expect Ferelden.
