(TL;DR Version at the very bottom)
I believe it lives up to it's name now that you can actually go up against dragons but unfortunately only the once. My proposition would be adding the option to be able to fight the dragons again and more, seeing as you have the 10 already, after you have defeated all 10 that is it, so I felt a great idea would be after you have killed all 10, it opens a dialogue with frederic back at skyhold where he has uncovered a "Sacred ground purely meant to test ones mettle." A rotunda where you can fight all dragons again and again as you please, a system I would feel would work like this.
Dragons scaled to a slightly higher attack as after a while they just got too easy but nothing over the top.
+10% attack scaling
+10% health scaling
+10% armor scaling
or on entry you can choose to fight the dragon on a difficulty level for example
Casual +10% all stat buff
Easy +20% all stat buff
Hard +35% all stat buff
Nightmare +50% all stat buff
fighting them in order of the first room is unlocked then as you defeat that the next level unlocks and upon killing the tenth dragon, after going to the center of the room, a podium which takes you up to an eleventh "Spirit Dragon" that has the chance of dropping a unique staff with a spirit elemental damage as surprisingly you have every element but this and I'm sure everyone agrees this would be a great addition but instead of dropping dragon blood, Pure Spirit Essence as they are rarity within the game and you can finish it with all rifts and still not have enough to craft a spirit rune.
New equipment:
You could work this on a point system and have a merchant in the main room that sells exclusive weapons and armor schematics or special runes that instead of +50 damage to a certain species; a +50 damage to everything.
either or maybe all of these options would most likely be welcomed.
The unique staff mentioned above being dropped by the spirit dragon I have a mental design and think that it would only be right if it was a skeletal staff (grip of helical bones) topped with a skull brimming with a green glow.
Possible new effects for staff
+10% chance on hit to curse the enemy (Curse effect: Spirit DoT (Damage over Time) and fear for 3 seconds)
Replaces a skill
Upon use: Replaces your rift focus ability with a new skill that tears a dark rift in the ground to which skeletal hands reach up and scratch and swat at enemies, pulling the smaller ones down with them for an instant kill but the larger enemies such as dragons and giants take a damage over a specific amount of time
Upon completing story:
Instead of having to make a new character and starting over it can be daunting as it's already quite hard enough as it is. The option to start the story again at any time after completion using your current characters, keeping level and items you currently have gained as a lot of people would start growing weary on the 3rd or 4th "Fresh Start."
TL;DR
1. Special room containing dragons and 1 exclusive spirit dragon that drops Pure Spirit Essence instead of Dragon Blood to fight over and over again
2. Spirit Dragon has the chance to drop a legendary staff with a base attack of spirit, new weapon ability and replaces a skill
3. Dragons have increased stats dependant on difficulty
4. New merchant within on a point based system offering rare schematics and a rune with +50 damage to all (not species specific)
5. Carry levels and equipment to next difficulty on story mode
