Hi,

I'm looking for an external tool allowing manipulation of the Bio DB, something close to the amazing Query Browser for MySQL(you won't catch me using the depraved workbench). I would need to browse/query the DB, add, remove or edit records just like with a "normal" DB. I have only 1 system using that DB, I chose to give it another try after years of abstinence since it allows to store a creature with all its items in a single call. So, unless I have missed an include file defining some real DB functions, I must either find an external tool, either convert the system to use MySQL, using BLOB fields.

Any tool you would recommend?

EDIT: Btw, do you know the ideal MySQL BLOB size for a storage creature?

Where did you get that? Is it a foxpro DB tool?

lets see some linkage. For example I could never find the db packer.

Actually SDBF is even better and totally free. Takes 1 second to repack the DB(from simple menu command "Pack"), a charm :)

http://sourceforge.net/projects/sdbf/

EDIT: Not sure about Foxpro but works very smoothly with DBF files and executes SQL queries
