Ok so yeah the 4th patch has made a ton of people upset, and yes I am in that boat with them, but what really pisses me off is the following:

I purchased DAI Deluxe Edition for my PS4. Only to turn around and see BW  make the Deluxe Edition free to all.

Further I payed for the season pass, expecting new and exclussive content, only to witness the Multiplayer add-on also be made free to all.

So why do I have a reason to be pissed off, let's see....

You Dev's at BW have failed to deliver anything of new content per the Season Pass that you have not made feely available to everyone else.

You force console users to mandatorilly patch in order to not only play online but so as to have access to DA Keep in order to import our custom world states.

You have nerfed the only thing that made the ridiculous issue of farming and replay value right out of the game.

And to make matters worse you have solely catered every single patch based on interaction with the PC community.

Now personally I would like to see some fixes made, reinstate some of the features that console users have asked for, fix known bugs instead of targeting exploits, and for the love of all that is holy start working on/releasing new content that people have paid and are waiting for.....

I have suggested that a downloadable version of the DA Keep be made that will allow colsole users to generate their custom world states, and be able to IF THEY SO CHOOSE uninstall the forced patches and play with a glitchy version 1.0...... which to me right now is far more preferrable than awaiting for you to actually provide a measure of support to the console user community.

Wow, I hadn't heard about this :o people who bought those extras should get a refund if they aren't actually getting anything for the money they paid. That's just rotten.

Not just the PC users since the Deluxe Edition was sold to console users as well...... then again seems like another PC user hating on legitimate claims of a console user..... not trolling, just saying PC users weren't the only ones who were able to pay for a Deluxe Edition and see others get it for free.....

EDIT:

And I stand corrected after revieiwing the PSN just now they are NOW charging for the upgrade... (last I looked 2/23/2015 it had still been listed as free)

I want them to remove that bloody add they place on the start screen. About new content I can buy for MP or whatever it is. Reminds me of how youtube is these days.

Hmm Looks to me like the Deluxe is still 10 USD more than the standard and, Includes items the standard does not include. As far as I can find there is not and was not a season pass for DAI. Perhaps the OP mistakenly bought one for another game and thought it was for DAI. *shrug* I don't know.

I don't know what season pass you're talking about, but the multiplayer component was always going to be using a microtransaction system. We've known that for years, so this wasn't a switch they recently made. My guess is that you misunderstood something about what the season pass was for (I'm guessing it has to do with paid DLC, which the multiplayer was never going to be.)

You force console users to mandatorilly patch in order to not only play online but so as to have access to DA Keep in order to import our custom world states.

That is the case with every game made and released using any medium, and it has nothing to do with what the developers are doing. You're targeting the wrong people.

You have nerfed the only thing that made the ridiculous issue of farming and replay value right out of the game.

That was a QA fix, not something that you paid for that they took away.

And to make matters worse you have solely catered every single patch based on interaction with the PC community.

It is absurd how untrue this statement is.

I have no idea what the deluxe edition was supposed to offer you, but I'm going to guess, based on the illegitimacy of your other complaints, that again, you misunderstood something about what you were paying for.

There is no season pass, moving on.

Edit: This is so GameStop. Even though Bioware mentioned pre-release there would be no season pass, GameStop still thought there would be :P

How is it untrue? Is there any consideration offered to the colsole community... I think not otherwise there would be a forum dedicated to the colsole users about a Patch 5 like the one for PC users http://forum.bioware...atch-5-pc-beta/

You force console users to mandatorilly patch in order to not only play online but so as to have access to DA Keep in order to import our custom world states.

So I believe I have legitimized those claims.....especially the forced patching issue for console players to play online OR to have access to custom world states.

As to what I understood, there is no misunderstanding, only the misunderstanding and inconsiderate tone of the replier's own opinion.

Console software (games) need to go through an approval process for both Microsoft and Sony and, that includes updates, patches and DLC. PC content does not need that approval and, if you think the Beta testers are ignoring console players, you're mistaken.

Gamestop, that explains it, if you can't buy it form Origin directly, it probably isn't a good idea to buy it from anyone else.

A sales rep can misrepresent anything to make you want to buy it. "Hey, I play DAI too, you know the game stopped crashing and, I got better FPS after I bought this super duper 100 dollar keyboard and installed the drivers it comes with. I bet yours would be better too. It makes a huge difference, it really does." And people fall for stuff like that when , if you had done even 5 mins of research you'd know better. (What they don't tell you is they bought the new keyboard to go with a new computer that had a better CPU, GPU and, far exceeded the game's requirements.)

Never trust anything gamestop tells you ever. The one closest to me tried to convince me that DAI was for next gen and PC only and that I could put in an order for a xboxone from them. So sounds like at least with one of those things that you were being tricked.

Meh, believe, say whatever ya like.... I'll keep on trusting the people I have known for 20 years, especially when they're part of the "old school pen and paper" group I game with.

- there is no season pass for DA:I, multiplayer is free, you buy your packs with game money.  This is for all platform.  I am sorry you got had by Gamestop.

re: http://forum.bioware.../#entry17285888

- multiplayer is as was ME3: a big promise, with ME3, they didn't deliver, they promised they will this time.  Don't really know, don't really care, I've played a few times, I don't like it.

- Patches are forced on everyone, PC & consoles to play multiplayer.  I'm not even sure I can play without the patch in single player...

- There is a beta patch for PC, yes, it is true, it is not for consoles.  A beta has regular changes, by nature, and going through MS&Sony certification process for every patch would be troublesome.  Besides, over 95% of the bugs are platform independant, the main issues for PC are the controls as most of us don't use controllers, but a good ol' mouse&keyboard setup and the game was very difficult to play that way.

- Console users aren't ignored, but they don't need their controls redesigned.  And the beta patch is not publicly available afaik, only for those who signed on the beta.

- if you think being a beta tester is cool because you play the game before everyone else, well, multiply your current frustrations by 1000, that is what it feels being the beta tester of an unfinished, often unstable product when you just wanna play to relax a bit :(  It takes dedication and commitment to provide constructive feedback.

- You feel ignored because you overpaid for a product that was not to your liking, and many people feel like you do, it is not exclusive to console players.  In fact, PC players believe the Consolers are the spoiled ones with this game ;)  So maybe, just maybe, there are still many unfixed bugs for all platforms and we have no recourse but to wait and learn our lesson to stop pre-order their games and be convinced by rewiewers who don't actually play the game like we do?

Exactly, same here, I paid to download the deluxe content after the game was released and I have been looking for a season pass but not seen one anywhere so not at all sure what the OP is on about there. How can Gamestop sell something that doesn't exist?

Edit: Oh and by the way I am a console gamer, I play on the PS4 and you certainly don't speak for me! So please adjust your title and rant so that it only applies to you. Oh and just in case you missed it the Deluxe upgrade was NEVER free, that would have been the stuff for multiplayer not single player and there was NEVER  a season pass. It is your friends at Gamestop who lied to you that you should be angry at.

Wait just one second sir or madam, I am a half console player/half pc player and I agree with a lot of what you are saying(apart from the spoilt bit, most of the pc issues are the same on console), but the ME3MP was actually shockingly good. For example some of the classes were more exciting than anything the so had to offer, with teleporting, grenades and full regen rage fuelled vorcha.
From what I hear the inquisition MP isn't quite as good, I have yet to play it as I'm holding off finishing any more until the sound lag is patched, but to say they didn't deliver in ME3 is definitely not accurate IMO.
