-Please don't presume to speak for 'console fans.'
-There was never, ever, a season pass for Inquisition.
-The Deluxe edition upgrade costs $10 for those who either did not pre-order or did not get the deluxe edition at the start.
-Even if it didn't cost money... So freaking what. Having a few additional mounts, one weapon per class, and a single suit of armor. In the words of Iron Bull; "...Woo."
-The devs are targeting issues perfectly evenly between both console and PC versions of the game.
-Sheesh

Meh, believe, say whatever ya like.... I'll keep on trusting the people I have known for 20 years, especially when they're part of the "old school pen and paper" group I game with.
If they really are friends of yours, you might want to ask them why they were lying to you about a season pass. Though I wouldn't phrase it like that myself -- my bet is that you just got confused about something. A couple of things, actually, since both the season pass and the free Deluxe Edition seem to only exist in your mind.

Before the game was released, the devs specifically said they wouldn't be doing a season pass as they didn't want to get locked in to something.

I remember when I thought like that.
Then I lost a lot of money and time trying to fix certain messes.
Now I don't think like that.

Wait just one second sir or madam, I am a half console player/half pc player and I agree with a lot of what you are saying(apart from the spoilt bit, most of the pc issues are the same on console), but the ME3MP was actually shockingly good. For example some of the classes were more exciting than anything the so had to offer, with teleporting, grenades and full regen rage fuelled vorcha.
From what I hear the inquisition MP isn't quite as good, I have yet to play it as I'm holding off finishing any more until the sound lag is patched, but to say they didn't deliver in ME3 is definitely not accurate IMO.
I played & I play ME3 MP. I like it, but it's far from a great experience. On release, there were only a few maps and a few characters, they added these later and that made it a decent game. Many years after release the game is plagued with bugs and cheaters, so it's not a great experience to me.
I like the co-op play for sure, I like the sci-fi shooter aspect wich imho is better for MP than medieval/fantasy RPG, but ME MP is repetitive. All the games feel the same to me, no matter the character. but I still play from time to time.

How is it untrue? Is there any consideration offered to the colsole community... I think not otherwise there would be a forum dedicated to the colsole users about a Patch 5 like the one for PC users http://forum.bioware...atch-5-pc-beta/
So I believe I have legitimized those claims.....especially the forced patching issue for console players to play online OR to have access to custom world states.
As to what I understood, there is no misunderstanding, only the misunderstanding and inconsiderate tone of the replier's own opinion.
GameStop, prior to game release....
Blocking imports is kind of shitty, of course, but the only thing surprising about having to patch the game to play with others is the fact that you're surprised.
Also, how do you propose to get console players to participate in beta testing a patch en masse, when the beta test would have to go through all the same hoops as the actual patch? Particularly when the return of investment in terms of usable feedback would be questionable at best, if most of the players exhibit the same aptitude and poor grasp of facts and reality shown in your posts.

They ran a special on the xbone not too long ago for live members. That's when I picked it up for cheap. I didn't see anything about season passes. Maybe it was only a Playstation thing?

Whilst I don't like DAs multiplayer ME3s was pretty good, I put almost as many hours into that as I did the single player, the annoyance was the RNG on the packages you bought, I had a wide variety of low level stuff instead of a couple of high level ones.
**edit** damn messed up putting part of someones comment in lol

I'm a console player but I firmly believe the PC players got the short straw on this, evem I find it weird they never optimised the controls properly for mouse and keyboard and the community are having to produce their mods to fix BWs issues with their own game.
The problem is that we didn't get a straw at all.
As a former manager at Gamestop, I know a bit of their unsavory business practices so never trust anything that company has to say. Everytime I hear the word preorder, I cringe.
