I understand the desire to hide spoilers from people who haven't beaten the game yet, but this implementation is patently silly.

A massive part of the appeal of the Keep is the ability to play around with other choices, and see how they impact each other. Not to mention all of the beautiful art we're missing out on.

This isn't a huge deal, and I know it'll be solved eventually. I'm not chuffing or angry or anything. I just can't fathom why they decided to do it this way. I think a spoiler toggle would make MUCH more sense. It protects people from unwanted spoilers, but it also gives users more control.

I have completed the game with every LI and possible option and 90% of the tiles are still hidden <_< Even LI tiles, for some reason I only have Dorian and Cullen unlocked.

They were all hidden for me at first, then I went into the game to make new saves and eventually the romances showed up. Not sure whether making new saves did anything or they just showed up because I waited  .

I noticed that most of the tiles that basically mean "you didn't complete this plot/quest" are staying hidden. For example I opened a save where Cole left and the tile for his quest is still hidden, even though it should say Cole didn't grow or something like that.

Tell me about it!! Omg, I did two playthroughs and saved Hawke both times, but the Keep is saying I left her there!! WTF!!!!!! This thing is bugged to holy hell, they need to fix it asap. And I have two main playthroughs I played to the end, an elf mage and an elf warrior, but the elf warrior doesn't come up, but a whole bunch of other characters I made just for the sake of playing with CC come up instead??? Uh, WUT!??? I hope they fix this whole thing soon. Sounds to me like they don't want players to take the "easy" way out by just clicking a choice, and instead wants to force the player to replay the game in order to get certain choices to pop up in the Keep. Bad idea, EaWare. Stop the bull...

Edit: I'd also like to add that I'm happy that my guess for Bioware's "canon"/default Inquisitor was correct; it's a female human mage! That allied with the mages! I knew it would be! hehe.

Also to the people saying they loaded a previous save and that got the Keep to unlock some hidden files, you mean you loaded the actual save file on PC/console and logged into the Keep at the same time?

I had my second and third playthroughs not registering, so I opened up the save files, left Skyhold, played around with the inventory, leveled up my Inquisitors skills, then went back to Skyhold and saved. Their options are now loading. So... one of those things fixed it, lol.

What's funny (ie: annoying) is that my fourth playthrough's choices all registered, but the Inquisitor for that playthrough still isn't showing up.

I understand the idea of "hidden" choices to prevent the spoilers or push the players to explore the game once more. But it appeared to be a completely disaster.

I'm not able to create my perfect world state, because of technical difficulties. Majority of choices are still hidden even when I completed the game. I can't export any other world states or playthrought states which could be more complete then one i have now. I can't mechanicaly choose what I want. I'm force to trust the system which doesn't work. The freedom of tapestry, which suppose to encourage players to experiment with their world states with ease, is now lost.

I really hope that this "hidden" option will go away alowing us to select the choices freely as in the rest of tapestry.

I also love the idea of a spoiler toggle a lot more than this whole "hidden" business, I mean like honestly, some of us have completed the game enough times to know what the other options/decisions are and not even care about "spoilers" anymore. I thought the whole point of the Keep was letting us customize our playthroughs without needing to play the games over a billion times, and this kind of... entirely goes against that? I know it just came out so hopefully they'll change it (and work on all these bugs too), but still, it's a very confusing design choice.

Another reason I'm not crazy about "hidden" tiles is that I like to use the Keep to partially plan my future playthroughs. Needing to unlock tiles means that I need to keep my excel document kicking around for a while, yet.

Not sure if I'm supposed to load in a character who has completed the game, but I've got like 45 different characters that were created/deleted apparently in various restarts, and I have no way to tell which one is which!  They really ought to just unveil everything...I don't trust this to ever sync right, given that it's still never been able to read my Origins and DA2 saves properly.

load an end game save. Then go somewhere , save again. Then load the "Current Playthrough" into the keep. Thats the one you want

My only problem right now is the "operations" part, which remains hidden even though I've loaded, reloaded and saved my current finished game-save a couple of times.
Maybe there should be an option to "un-hide" tiles...whether the keep thinks you have finished Inquisition or not

Two things I'd really love help with;

1: Is there anyway to check all my characters on this website, so I could delete them? I remember on social.bioware.com, you could log in, go to either Origins/Dragon Age 2, sync your game data, and then you could see all your Heroes and they'd have the option to delete them.

And 2: At the moment it says that until you complete the corresponding part, the tile for that quest/action will remain hidden. Is this just a pre-caution for spoilers, and they'll show these options in the future?

1. Head to the heroes section

2. Maybe they'll remove the spoiler gates in the future? They didnt say

Many thanks. Somehow I have 70 Heroe's for Dragon Age Inquisition!

There's no delete option (I can see the option for Origins and Dragon Age 2), so I guess I'll have to wait for them to fully implement Inquisition into the Keep before I can start deleting them.

Well, you could rename them as delete

Just gone in myself and having some of the same problems as others:

  • Deleted Inquisitors with the same name showing up in the list
  • Hidden choices - I think I may have missed one or two things (I missed Michel somehow for example) but it feels like too much is missing, still.  No idea what I might have missed with the advisors, I talked with them a lot.
  • Incorrect unlocks - the only outcome I have for Dorian is 'Dorian went back to Tevinter', but at the victory celebration he said he was going to stay with me. Likewise for Sera and Harmon, the only unlocked tiles are for never having met Harmon or for Sera having killed him, but I told her to spare him and told him to stay away from us.

I'm a bit disappointed it isn't more malleable like DAO and DA2 - I totally wanted to fudge it on some things, like who becomes Divine, depending on how it goes in the future (I was hoping for Leliana but got Cassandra.)

Are we not able to unlock the others without actually doing that content/getting that outcome in that specific playthrough, or is it account-wide (e.g. if I take different choices on another playthrough they will unlock)?

Gah, I'm having the same problem.

- I don't have the "Romanced Solas" tile. I will try to go back in game and replay the break-up and doom upon the world and see if it magically registers..
Funnily enough though I have the Cullen one.

- Some sections are completely hidden, even though I have done all possible missions and things in every PT.
I'm talking about: the 2nd panel under Operations, and the last two panels under Advisors.

Anybody has them unlocked and can kindly tell me what they are?

This whole thing with the deleted characters still appearing is a mess. I have 3 Lavellans + 8 Trevelyans. I am not sure which one I am supposed to pick! In theory I would pick the one with the latest PT number, hoping it would be the one I did play with.

But in some cases it makes no sense. For instance I only created Lavellans once. One of my Lavellans is Playthrough 4. The other 2 are PT 12 and 13. What happened in the middle? I created all of them the same day. But instead, PT 5 -11 are.. other quizzies which I did not create that day. And one of them is my Trev which was created months before Lavellan.
So this makes no sense..

/headache

Please please simplify this.. Allow the keep to only pick up the saves remaining in the game and not the "failed cc" inquisitors. Or allow a delete button with a way to understand which one is the most recent inquisitor..

They do plan to remove the "hidden" stuff eventually.  Presumably before the next game is released, so we'll be able to edit things as we wish.

I think the "Dorian went back to Tevinter" is maybe just confusing rather than wrong.

Yeah, I have that too and it was the only option.
But I kinda read that one as... Dorian will stick with the Inquisition for a while and then return to Tevinter.. even if that's not exactly how it happened..
>.<

Can someone tell me what the first tile under Advisors is supposed to be? And the last two?

Why couldn't they just give out a spoiler warning and show all tiles? I thought I'd be part of the idea that we could pick our path without having to play through everything.

I believe the last two under advisors are both related to Calpernia.

Operations has one tile for if the Inquisition's forces were regularly deployed, one for Sutherland, one for who your Red Jenny contact was, and one for the conclusion of the fueding families operation.

Ok thank you, that makes sense. I did Calpernia on my very first PT but have deleted that save since, and it seems it did not pick it up. Weird that it picked all the other failed quizzies which never played tho xD

As for Sutherland, I actually don't have any memory of this quest.. It's possible I didn't do. So it makes sense too.

Ok, so all that is left is Solas' tile.. and the weird issue with Dorian..

Sutherland is a Inquisition recruit you can talk to at the second floor of the tavern. If you trust in him then he eventually develops a small adventuring company. Other possible endings are his company dying or him just never being given a chance.

Sorry, but I hate this update. The "hidden" tiles are such a silly idea that just place unnecessary obstacles in the way of Keepers. I don't really accept the argument that they're to protect people from being spoiled either, as, A) You're likely to have already completed the game if you're visiting the Keep, and B)The spoilers which could be unveiled from tile art alone are negligible.

I'm grateful that they're working on the Keep and looking for feedback, of course, and their work up to now has been tremendous, I just wish they wouldn't start changing the format at this point and remove restrictions as soon as possible.
