The Wardens and Hawkes in my Playthrough states have all lost their names and appearances

Since the update to the Keep that opened the Inquisition section, everyone's names and appearances have gone a little screwy.

Everything's fine in the Heroes section - everyone still has their customised names and appearances. And the "Editable Worldstates" section is also fine!

But the "Playthrough Worldstate".... suddenly, my Wardens and Hawkes revert to their default names and appearances. Instead of Kassie Amell (blonde) and Anna Hawke (brunette and tanned), I've got Solona Amell (brunette) and Marian Hawke (black hair, paler than a porcelain plate). It's happened across all of the playthrough worldstates, too, notjust my current.

And let's not even get into the whole "I need to delete these duplicate 'playthrough' states that are the result of that bug that meant you had to restart characters three times to get to play properly" issue.

Once you load it in the tapestry, you should be able to switch it back to your custom characters. I think it's just because their names and portraits didn't import into Inquisition anyway (which is what you see in the playthrough states), so it was easier programming wise to import the equivalent default.

The wardens and Hawkes in the Playthrough worldstates have the default name and appearance. The only detail the game uses is gender, race, class & origin

This is exactly what happened for me as well.  What I did was take my Playthrough World State and move it into my Editable World States and swapped out the characters for the right ones.  I went through every single choice for DA:O and DA2, and everything, with the exception of the characters were correct; all I had to do was swap my characters back in.  The wrong characters were the correct race, class, and gender like Kantr says above, however.

The strange thing that I've noticed is when I go to what I have named as my "Canon World State," the one that I imported into DA:I when I started the game the first time, it has a couple of tiles in the Inquisition screen unlocked, like character and advisors, but most things are locked.  Then, when I go to the Playthrough World State that I mentioned and look at the copy of it in the Editable World States section, the one I mentioned above, all of the Inquisition options are there and correct.  I don't know what explains the few unlocked tiles in my Canon World State,  but as long as I was able to fix the Playthrough World State, then it's all good to me.  I saved that fixed state as "Canon World State, with Inquisition" haha.

One last side note is that I find this incredibly silly, that the game doesn't at least import that proper characters, even if it doesn't use them.  If, some day, when the next DA game comes out and they make use of the Warden or Hawke and someone imports from the Playthrough World State but was not aware of the fact the characters were wrong, that would suck for them.  I reported it as a bug in the feedback, I suggest everyone do the same.

I Just wanna say that I did all of Ignacio's assassinations, then I killed him... You guys need to fix up the tapestry so I can actually make it the way I played my game. So many little things I know I did but can't choose because it won't let me, or is dependent on a different tile that doesn't have my exact scenario as a choice. Really makes having the tapestry a waste of time, and one wishes you would have just done an importer, which we all know works without a problem...

Also, I know I saved Yehvan's kids and met Nathaniel in the Deep roads... Why I can only choose one or the other is stupid.

.....Can't tell if you are being sarcastic here or not. O.o

Only way to do that is to do a lot of save game editing/console commands, and even if you do that the game glitches a lot. The Keep isn't set up to handle any states that aren't achievable through normal game at, so it doesn't cover that scenario.

It's not a problem. It's not new.

And why did you post that when you already got you answer in the "Common Issue" thread ?

There is no 'fix' for this. It is simply the way DAI read your Keep state import. Since the first name and appearance of your DAO and DA2 characters don't matter anyway, I don't see the problem.

You only know that they revert to their default name and appearance if you check your DAI playthrough in the Keep, otherwise it doesn't come up in the game at any time...
