Heck, even Sera is disturbed by this and she despised the nobility (unless the Empress is an exception that I'm unaware of...)...  well, the concept version of Sera anyway... who knows what she was like back then.

Was just looking at this picture with my friend. We thought that the Qunari look badass, but we both wouldn't want to be the Divine. Think of all the paperwork  !!!

To be honest realistically speaking nothing would be able stop inq from taking position of divine as chantry wasn't in position to do anything.

I must admit, I like the ideas that the concept art seems to speak of more than the actual game.

Still should have been an option for female human Inquisitors. Even carrying with the idea that it would be very easy for noble Trevs but a lot more difficult for mage Trevs, the different leverage is a good idea to make the choice plausible.

 

Sure everyone not playing female Trevs would cry rivers about it and be all sour grapes forever, but it would make all the story sense in the world for a very faithful Inquisitor to become head of the Chantry if the stars aligned right, and in Trev's case, they absolutely did.

Oh man, I wish they had done it. Can you imagine a male Qunari Mage Divine and the follow up that could provide? Is it going to remain Southern Thedas, become part of Qunandar or, be The Tevinter Imperium all over again, or something totally new? Wow talk about choices making an impact, yeah, that would do it.

I would have loved for my inquisitor to become the divine. Imo it should still have been an option for female human inquisitors. All options don't have to be available to everybody. In DAO only the noble warden could become king/queen, this would have been similar.

Ehh, just replace the inquisitor in the OP with Vivienne (which can happen now) and we could still possibly get the same reactions from Leliana and Cassie.
