So am I screwed out of Cerberus Network?

Once I got home I did what most everyone did. Redeemed one of their promotional codes on the website on an EA account that they though their Gamertag was linked to. This particular Code was for the Collector's Items. When I start Mass Effect 2 up I redeem my Cerberus Network Key at the Main Menu, not knowing that my Gamertag is not linked to the email I redeemed the Collector's stuff for. I don't see my armor for download, so I check around the forums, follow a link to EA chat, and begin working with a guy to get my Gamertag linked to the correct email.

He links my Tag to the email that has the Collector's items, and what do you know they appear for download.
But I then notice that the Cerberus Network says "Activate Cerberus Network"
I let the guy who is helping me know and he tries a few things, and I restart my game a few times, but it still says "Activate"

He then told me that he would have to escalate it to Senior Support and they would contact me in 24 Hours.
I asked him if I could get a new code, but he said Senior Support would have to do that.

So I'm just wondering if anyone has had this problem and if they know a quicker way to resolve it?
Because I personally think that 24 hours is much too long of a wait after I spent $80 on the game.

Just start the game and give it a day, you can spend hours playing the game before any of the DLC is really that useful.

When I contacted EA, they just moved my code from one account to another. Sorry that they screwed you over, dude, I'd suggest calling again.

Seriously, EA and Bioware OWN me 10 $ plus the long distance call I made to EA.

Same thing happened to me. I was getting so frustrated with the guy because he barely seemed to understand English, much less how the video games he provides support for, work. He ended up just terminating chat with me like 2 seconds after he said "escalating to senior support" and "is there anything else I can help you with?" - like, I didn't even have time to respond to his question. Srsly wtf!

Well that's the thing though, I shouldn't have to wait on EA. They should be doing everything in their power to help the people that are having problems like this. How hard is it to create new Activation codes for the people "THEY" screwed over.

Now I know it's partly my fault, but this is ridiculous. The Zaheed DLC is supposed to be out tomorrow and I won't be able to get it unless EA emails me back with a fix.

Well I was in the chat room, I tried getting in again but it cancelled out. I'll keep trying though. I just don't know why the guy couldn't transfer my code to the new email, or just send me a new code.
