And I could have sworm the initial DAO default was a male human noble, because when I first played DA2, I think a male Cousland who put Alistair on the throne and did the dark ritual was the default worldstate. That, however, was changed in DAI.

Nope, there were three "defaults" for DAO and the first one was always an US female elf. I think there is one minor choice that was changed from DA2 to the Keep, but I forgot which one. I think the DR human noble was premade world state 2.

Everyone knows the default Inquisitor for DA4 will be a male dwarf mage. I guarantee it.

 

My vote is either a human or Qunari since it's probably going to be related to the war up North.

 

My canon as far as warriors go is a Qunari Reaver.

Nah they did that in DAO already. And male mage Hawke is the default for DA2. Makes sense since he's an Amell and connected to Corypheus via his father's blood.

 

In my mind though, I see either a Cousland or Amell as the default DAO hero based on Amell in DA2 and revenge on Howe in DAO, and mage Hawke is always my canon, but for DAI I had a female human mage, so I was close! Lol

 

I always thought Amell's story would fit more in dao and mage Marian is my canon Hawke.

 

And Trevelyan or Adaar are my canon inquisitrixs (can't choose one of them tbh, they're my babies).

In my current world I have Amell as the HOF who refused to be Alistair's mistress and married him to Anora, spared Loghain who did the DR with Morrigan (his demise will be in DAI because I love my Hawke). 

 

In DA2 my female mage Hawke has Templar brother Carver, is in love with Fenris, sided with the Templars after what happened to her mother and spared Anders as she tries to redeem everyone just like her Amell ancestor.

 

Tabris will always be my HOF. The male is a two-handed warrior; the female is a rogue. I chose a female mage for Hawke as well in one of my canons - I have several.

I have a female elf mage who romanced Leliana as my canon Hero of Ferelden. She got Alistair and Anora married and spared Loghain.

 

My Keep's Hawke might actually be a Hawke I didn't play, a male mage who romanced Anders. But obviously still sided with the mages.

In DA2 the default world was where a male Cousland who was Alistair's best friend put him on the throne, and did the DR with Morrigan. The currently default DAO in DA2 was option 2 called the Martyr.

Martyr was second? Weird because I know that Martyr was the "official" default world state even before the Keep was released. Must of been Dev comments or something then. *shrug*

I have 2 I love. Female rogue Cousland who sleeps with Dairren and romacnes Zeveran, and female mage Amell who flusters Jowan by saying she liked him and romances Alistair. Being female in real life, I always play a female. I spent half my life playing games where you MUST be male, so this is my chance! Lol

 

My mage in DAO was a female elven Arcane Warrior - because that class is so OP. I wish there were more moments in some games where role-playing women actually went beyond dialogue changes. They did experiment in ME though; ME2 has one of my favorite sequences that can only be seen if you play as Femshep.

I was pleasantry surprised at Hawke's open banter with her companions in DA2, but the Inquisitor is silent unless she's activating a quest.

Huh? Hawke hardly talked during DA2. The only banter that really had anything of substance happened during the dlc.

I mean the Inquisitor has some of those as well. Dialogue was just a little buggy before so they hardly ever fired.. 

 

That being said, I agree. Hawke is a much more fleshed out character.

Mage is my favorite to roll in DA2. I tend to always play a female Hawke because I can't ever design the male Hawke the right way in CC. He just never looks right - otherwise I'd roll him ALL the time!

 

So in DAO which elf was default? The Dalish or the mage?

I have never cared what BioWare's default is for anything, and I still don't.
