I have thought about this myself. Pretty much you would be living away behind forever. You would die on mars with very few people. You would die in the end doing what very few people in the world would be able to do. Would it be worth it to leave everyone behind forever. I don't know. I don't think personally I would do it. I feel like I would the person who went crazy.

 

Like how see in the horror movies. Everyone is usually okay expect one person who goes on a rage rampage. Anyways. Would you on a one Way Ticket to Mars?

Speaking of a rampage though, I can imagine someone going on a rampage and actually killing everyone, at least hypothetically because let's face it, this mission is doomed. We should be readying the funeral speeches for these people.

If it was a serious mission and there was a high chance of survival and paving the path for future development, sure. But then I'd be wondering why I was there. This Mars One thing looks like a joke, I don't think the tech exists to do it safely yet. Either it'll never get off the ground or they'll all die.
