An expansion, a full one that is bigger than the expansion for DAO.
Idea: It takes place 1 year after the events of DA:I. The Dragon Age is continuing and the silent threat - Dragons grow in number for some reason. We killed 10 high dragons in Inquisition compared to the 2-3 in Origins. Dragons are obviously becoming a problem.
Since Bioware shoehorned in POC, the DA equivalent of the Huns or Mongols ride in from the West..for some reason. These people will look East Asian, like the Huns/Mongols. It's a great way to introduce a new race of humans.
A new storyline based on the immediate threat of migrated peoples from the west whose primary weapon of warfare is the horseback archer. Since Bioware added horses it's time to use them as enemies. Horse Archers, Lancers, people a top of drakes perhaps? Who knows just shelling out ideas for enemies. The new dynamic of horseback enemies should encourage bioware to add back tactical behaviours for AI teammates.
Same old inquisition with the same pc, new companions, since these new people will be razing the towns and cities of Orlais, like the Huns/Mongols, we'll need a new system involving sending troops to fight armies of these hunnic/Mongolian like peoples.
Somewhere down the storyline, we learn that these people are migrating because Dragons have infested their lands, the reasons that dragons are coming back to thedas is because they've recovered their numbers in the west, so essentially these new peoples are like the Goths and are migrating to Orlais/Thedas because of the Dragons who are truley the Huns/Mongols (sorry I have been playing Atilla which was the inspiration for this post).
Any thoughts?
