Valuables take up alot of precious space, especially for us hardcore looters. Could you please add "Valuables" as an option for the Skyhold chest, so that we have a place to store our overstock instead of being forced to sell to make room.

 

Also please add a similar chest for Haven. I quite often find myself in the same predicament early in the game and have to sell off items that I want to keep because I haven't recruited all party members yet. This wouldn't break lore

because during the migration from Haven to Skyhold the people took alot of thing with them.

It's natural that chest would go with the people. As a matter of fact, I'm not sure why you didn't just add all the inventory categories to the chest. It would make it easier to organize the main character/party inventory system so that we can keep the minimal items we want while playing/exploring. 

 

Off-topic: Why didn't you add "looting" to the AI tactic? We should be able to assign one (or more) of the party members to loot at least the regular stuff.

I haven't played Inquisition in a little bit, but unless this also got changed, some of the requisition materials were placed in the valuables folder (if this is no longer the case, let me know and I'll remove the irrelevant comment XD)

Is stuff like Venatroi Tomes valuables? If so, ugh. I keep selling.

I like to keep some valuables for RP purposes, i.e. prayer stones and an Andraste figurine for my pious Quizzy, or a glass halla and acorn charm for my Dalish one, just something that adds to the character.
