Erm.....I'm not arguing with you. Just asking a simple question. No need to get so defensive.

An argument within an argument....? Gentlemen, I give you: Threadception.

The OP is focused very specifically about whether or not the offhand weapon does reduced damage due to a "offhand weapon damage penalty". It occurs in some games, but not this one. In that sense he is correct when he says there is no damage difference between the hands.

But that statement doesn't apply to some other types of differences that occur based upon which hands you slot daggers to, and the back and forth you see is because neither side can see eye to eye.

I don't even think what I said can be classified as not seeing eye to eye or arguing with the OP.

I'm simply maintaining the idea that while what the OP claims is fundamentally correct, the term Off Hand does hold a distinction within the game. The OP is just mistaken in the definition of what Off Hand actually means in this game.

Also, I'm trying very hard not to come off like a ******, unlike the OP. The OP has repeatedly called people trolls simply for "disagreeing" with their (incorrect) interpretation of Off Hand not existing.

EDIT: Frankly I'm tired of the "Discussion" at hand, myself. In conclusion, I offer this tidbit of data. As of this post, my post count is only 118 posts. within those 118 posts I've generated 112 "likes". The OP on the other hand, as of this post stands at 336 posts. ZERO likes. What does that even mean? You interpret that data however you see fit.

That, my friends, is my idea of "ending the discussion."

Except I wasn't comparing myself to them. My comparison was specifically to the OP.

Even better in my opinion. If you can pull someone's chain hard enough to get a giggle, you're doing it right. The OP can't even do that, if he is indeed trolling.

I still havent seen a reason NOT to put your best dagger in your main hand, other than "it makes no difference". This said, I came up with two reasons why it is still slightly beneficial to do so.

I understand the OP was just trying to educate people that it might not be as important as he thought they thought it was..I think.

So wait, that's a thing now? 941 posts with 595 likes gives me some kind of... "BSN cred"?

Sorry, it's hard to type more with my palm repeatedly bashing my face...

I'm guessing it's a thing if you want it to be. Honestly, I've used "up/down" voting systems such as this in the past to assist in gauging the veracity of random internet person #835628.

Of course BSN doesn't have downvoting, but I see the "Like This" button as a sort of an "I agree with this" or "This person is funny" button. If I see a user with 300+ post counts and absolutely zero likes... I'm gonna assume that this person is not contributing to the community at all.

Really, if someone can submit that many posts and not even ONE person has felt compelled to click the Like This button on anything they have written... That just indicates to me they aren't a credible source of opinion or information.

I'm really not trying to run around with my e-peen hanging out, I'm not typically narcissistic. I regret making that edit in the heat of the moment. I could have found a better way to make my point without calling attention to the numbers.

I stand by the mic-drop gif, though. :D

That's not always true with everyone. About 99% of my posts have come from the legacy forums with mass effect 3 and dragon age origins. There was no upvotes for posts back then.

I am though! Why else would I make Youtube videos? From what I've been told, I just like the sound of my own voice. I also think I am better than everyone else, and therefore call people "trolls" that disagree with me.

I am honestly thinking that may actually be true since I was able to type it with a straight face...

Hooray! It took a lot of work to reach level 835,628.

I'd like to thank all of those people that have supported my rise to power, the Buddha, and Taylor Swift. You are all fantastic!

If you were typing with your Mainhand and bashing your face with your Offhand, then you're lying because your Offhand DOES NOT EXIST.
