I just got into Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes (have seen about half of the first season so far) on Netflix, and it made me a little sad to know that such a great series got cancelled in favor of another show made for the sole purpose of pushing the Marvel movies. Avengers: EMH was going very strong and is easily as good as the Justice League cartoon, but Corporate had to promote the movies more so they pulled the plug and got to making another, sh*ttier series. Why Marvel and Disney keep killing their good shows and making bad ones is beyond me.

Anyway, what other shows do you guys like to watch to get your superhero fix? Justice League (and Justice League Unlimited), Avengers: EMH, and Batman Beyond have to be my top 3. It doesn't even necessarily need to be a DC or Marvel series, just so long as the main character (or characters) is a super powered person, creature, or robot.

I'm currently working my way through Batman Beyond.

I just finished rewatching all of Justice League and Justice League Unlimited. The quality of writing in those is incredible. And oh, the feels... I've started tearing up during some of those scenes, like the scene where Grundy dies and Hawkgirl comforts him, or the scene where Ace asks Batman to stay with her until she dies.

I've heard good things about Spiderman: The Animated Series from 1994... I might check that out after I'm done with Batman Beyond.

I do want a good Supergirl show, but I can't say that the character has been particularly compelling or interesting in the past. I am a little worried though, since DC's more recent movies and shows try to be gritty and dark (I can't speak for the Flash though, I haven't seen that), which wouldn't work for Supergirl (since they're already ruining doing that to Superman). It would feel like a total retread, just with a woman instead of a man as the main character.

Live-action: The Flash and Arrow. Supergirl might be good. There's supposedly an anthology type The Brave and the Bold show based in the DC Flarrowverse in the works which will give lesser known heroes like Firestorm, ATOM, Vixen, and Black Canary (Sarah Lance) something to do.

Animation: Batman: The Animated Series is the undisputed king of western animation. Then there's all the spin-offs like Supes:TAS, JL, and JLU. Young Justice is quality, but was sadly cut short for some idiotic sh*t like spongebob.

GalleryTV_1900x900_teenTitansGo_53470b47lol, I don't know if this counts as well, :P

I'm not much of a fan of Melissa Benoist (I've only seen her in Glee, and didn't like her performance all that much tbh). But I'm hoping she makes a good character portrayal of Kara as her DC comic counterpart. As for the story, I'm hoping as well that it doesn't get all too serious and dark like the Arrow series, I prefer it to be something a lot like Flash, it was more balanced. Also it is likely Supergirl will crossover with the Flarrowverse,

He didn't. Opinions are split down the middle. Some people like myself think it's the best Superman to date. Others such as yourself think it's the worst. MOS is a divisive piece. You should accept that rather than trying to project your opinion as fact. A movie doesn't rake in 700,000,000 at the box office if it's garbage, especially when fighting off the stigma of boring ass Superman Returns.

They really need to make a Booster Gold TV Show.  If done right that could be amazing, you could even have him team up with a lot of the lesser known superheroes (or intentional joke heroes)

Looks like they went with the Man of Steel costume design.

Well that's not really true, as an example I point to the recent live action TMNT movie. I don't recall how much it made, but it was the top movie for about two weeks straight.

True but the recent TMNT is again a divisive movie.  Younger children really enjoyed it while the older audience who grew up with the comics and 80's hated it purely on nostalgia glasses alone.  It made enough money to green light a sequel so it did something right.

I didn't like it due to casting choices myself, but I know a lot of people in my age group that went and saw it and that it was all right but nothing special.

If I recall correctly, it also released during a time when there weren't any good movies anyways, but since it's a Micheal Bay film...

I'd say it's more of a mix.

Since the Symbol looks more like the comics than the Man of Steel one.

Fabric looks similar though.

I keep saying, we need a Booster Gold-Blue Beetle buddy comedy.
